Before my divorce, I gave & gave to this place expensive items in trust that a church organization would offer poor people my stuff for free or under $5 for sure. Today, I shopped here & seen not only 1 female in the basement but two & two men with another female upstairs staffed speaking only Spanish & trying on clothes while they were 5 of them shopping, when I presented my church coupon & this was after I seen $25.00 on items & nothing under $8.00 the items I selected are stained & should not ever have been sold for any money with stains, & the female & man at the register were extremely offensive in both tone & body language to be giving to a White skin person is when I felt not only Greed & Hate but also Racism against WHITE people. I hope you fire todays staff & train professional people & lower prices to those in crisis. Is my recommendation.
Regards, Patricia

SUMMARY: Solid 4/5 I love the convenience of this little thrift shop along Grand Avenue. Starbucks and all the food places are along Grand, so whenever I'm planning on getting a coffee or lunch in the area I always feel compelled to stop by and skim the racks. I've found a variety of gems all for very reasonable prices (all under $10, with most of my purchases being $5): Topshop cozy sweater, leather heels and loafers, Express slacks, Joe jeans, and more. TIP: while they have a lovely shop and collection on the street level, don't forget to make your way to their basement level for even better deals.

The people doing this good service, serving free lunches Mon wed and Friday at 10:00am, are awesome, more than a handful of the locals are like primitive monsters, especially a short white girl that looks and acts like the penguin ? from Batman, just let them cut in front of you and then invite all their Clic to do the same, cuz apparently that's just the way it is here.

Clean & organized. But everything with an OK brand is charged higher than ebay prices. Why would i pay $20 for a torn jcrew dress? That’s Literally a mall brand.

In my past I went through some bad times and no money to buy food to eat. The only place was St.Vincent de Paul.

I purchased stuff and the cashier forgot to put one art piece into the plastic bag. I tried to reach them but they never pick up a phone and they don't care. Seems like this happened to many people as well.

I'm not quite sure how many times a person should call, before they throw up their arms and say the hell with it. You would think, that these organizations would welcome donations, but in San Francisco they really don't care. So, my best recommendation it to take your donations to a homeless shelter or another location that will appreciate your donations.

DO NOT DONATE TO THIS LOCATION! I called them to schedule a drop off of new furniture and the girl who talked to on the phone said to bring it over and they would take it. I drove 30 minutes to the location and the manager looked at me like she hated her job intensely. She directed me to a little guy in the back and then he said no to everything within three seconds of looking at it. He even looked at my $350 Yeti cooler, that I wasn't donating, and said no to that. Anywhere else in the state people are begging for donations and once again the bay area is simply ridiculous. .

Yesterday was the 1st time in years that I haven't been to this location. This was my favorite thrift store growing up. Unfortunately this place is not what it used to be. I walk in and no one greets you at all! I start looking at the racks and price start at $15 for secondhand clothes. As I started to check the clothes some items had stains, worn out, shoes look so worn out. A white mens polo had yellow stains on the pit. A north face jacket was peeling and flaking. Kids shoes looked so beaten up! This is ridiculous to have to pay so much for secondhand items. You can just head on over to goodwill or Salvation Army for far better clothing and prices. I won't be coming back ever. A thrift store shop should not have such high prices for crappy clothes. With prices like $15 and up you can even just go to Walmart and target and buy better new clothes.

Many of the items sold at this store are very pricey for a donated items. I've been at this location multiple times and still see same items on the shelves that haven't been sold because of the price. Fake Louis Vuitton for $150. I've been to other st. Vincent thrift and the prices are x400 percent less than at this location. No wonder two of the stores who were also st Vincent de Paul near here close down. I usually see younger individuals visiting thrift stores nearby but this location is zombie apocalypse empty.

Today I went after months of not..the place looks like a boutique vs a thrift shop (expression of highest compliment)Yet my detailed enthusiasmness in discovering items to purchase came to a total of $3.00 ($2 white men's tshirt and $1 for 2 pc of car drying towel med size. Why? Coz most of the items that did interst me had funky mildew odor or had obvious bleach stains or tshirt types priced $3.50 ( Salvation Army thrift store close by sells those at $1.99)These candid comments is in hope to aid that St. Vincent de Paul thrift shop location improves.
