The people that accept the donations are very rude and I always have an issue with them. I have always donated to the Salvation Army over Goodwill, but the treatment from the people on the back of the truck is so awful that I will donate to Goodwill now.

I really enjoy going to this location because of the amount of items that they have inside and I also enjoy being at this location because it’s in my neighborhood.

Normally I find my visits this location enjoyable. But I brought a bicycle down to donate and it was a little rusty and dirty, so it wasn't accepted. The website should make it clear they want them in really good condition so we don't waste time and gas money.

Decent drop off with pleasant staff. BUT in spite of what the website says and what we were told on the phone yesterday they do NOT take televisions. Hope they make sure their site and staff know this when people ask.

Unfortunately I found absolutely nothing to buy, clothing, shoes & purse selection was sub par. I will not be back.

Excellent place to shop and at the same time help. They just need to raise the level of the items; more order and discard those that are no longer in purchasing condition.

Title: The Go-To Spot for Donations: The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation CenterReview:Located at 1170 Mission Rd in South San Francisco, The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center has become my preferred place for dropping off donations. From clothes to furniture and household items, they accept a wide range of goods, making it incredibly convenient for decluttering. The staff is always friendly and helpful, guiding you through the quick and easy donation process. And the best part? Knowing that the items you donate are going to be put to good use, either by being sold to support The Salvation Army's charitable programs or by going directly to those in need.If you have items to donate and you're in the South San Francisco area, I highly recommend this Salvation Army location. It's a straightforward way to give back to the community while also freeing up some space in your own home.Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5

I like this location because it's spacious and close by. I have found some items but most of the time they don't have a price and I'm quoted at the checkout. I was surprised when I got up to the cashier and asked for pricing and a not-so-good condition porcelain doll in which I got the response that it was worth $300 and I could get it for $60. Um no thanks. Then it was dropped to $30. Still no thanks. I was put off by this and skipped the item. Seems shady

Bro this place is actually one of the most disgusting salvation army ever, the amount of dust everywhere is just nasty, plus the employees were pretty rude , one cashier that does everything while everyone just stands around, One employee was slamming things around while moving, I don’t recommend this place again whoever is the manager here needs to do a better job or needs to get replaced., its unfortunate bc this salvation army could be great but the people that are running it is so inconsistent with prices and the amount of clothes that are just scattered everywhere is kinda insane, hopefully management can fix this and make it better.

Do they still not allow trying on clothes? Loss of a star for that, I need to know I fit the clothes I buy... especially if no returns?I love shopping here otherwise, really kind staff and nice items. Please bring back in store changing rooms! I'll update rating next time I go if they're open. :)

Horrible costumer service, the manager in that place is useless.

Staff aren’t very friendly, no dressing room (all sales final), no bathroom, no toys for sale, the items on the shelves are over priced (for example I’ll see dollar store items for $2-$4). Clothing and shoes are priced fairly, but are really worn out/faded. I keep coming back hoping to find something. I see lots of good stuff getting donated, I guess I’m just not lucky enough to find it in the store.
