Just had a great experience this morning with Peninsula Battery. My car battery completely crapped out so I needed a mobile delivery/installation. Daniel helped me on the phone and coordinated everything for me with his driver. Once I met with the driver, he was able to put in my battery very quickly and send me on my way. My first google search result directed me to Curbee and RepairSmith, both of which were over $100+ more than what I was quoted from Peninsula Battery.

Went to trade in a battery with a 2yr warranty they didn’t honor it ,instead I ended up purchasing another one at a discount rate which I settled because I was in a hurry ,very rude service from the old guy there .

Situated 2 doors up from Cafe De Casa, a Brazilian spot w/ no parking. I went into Peninsula Battery to ask if it would be alright to park there for 5 min. while picking up food. The grumpy man had the option to say, NO.Instead, he completely came unglued. The proper response would’ve been, “I prefer you didn’t” or “I appreciate you taking the time to come inside to ask, ok.”Here’s a business, open to the public, that screams about their grievances for their thriving business neighbors. A liability to any place of business.If it were the last place on earth to get a battery, I wouldn’t.

Called for a battery pricing and was given a rate of $50 when I got there the guy raised it $60. I asked why he raised it and the answer was "buy it if you want or get out" I asked again why the price was raised then he proceeded to throw lug nuts at me and began to get violent. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE to anyone going to this establishment not only because the guy working there is a crook but also not to go for their own safety.

Do not use this place sold me broken battery not holding charge and when I asked to return it wouldn't return it blamed policy, will not be recommending this place to anyone

In the past I've patronized the Redwood City store. Since I am now living in San Francisco, I gave this Interstate dealer a call. When I inquired as to whether they had my battery in stock, the guy told me they did. I told them I would be right down. When I got there there was an older Pinoy at the desk. I told him that I was there for the Tundra battery. Apparently he was not the one who had taken my call. When he looked up the battery, he informed me that he didn't have it in stock. I cursed under my breath, as I had just wasted the better part of an hour getting there. He then became upset, and got into my face, and demanded, "What did you call me?" He threatened me verbally. I told him I didn't call him anything, and said that I had been told that the battery was in stock. To his credit, he did call another business (near my neighborhood), and located one. I was extremely annoyed at his behavior, as he was rude and aggressive. I sensed that we were that close to an altercation. Over what? When I went to the store that carried the battery, the sales guys were well aware of this employee, as there have been multiple incidents. I'd avoid this business, unless you like dealing with the mentally unstable.

A friend purchased two batteries for a mobility scooter that he is giving me. Unfortunately the batteries he bought we not the right ones. He had a dental appointment in his hometown, so I offered to return them. When I pulled up the Warehouse man out to help me. He could see that I was struggling with them. He took over and could immediately see what needed to be done. I took my Service Dog and soon to be Service Dog for a small walk. He placed the correct batteries in the trunk. He said it was an even exchange. OUTSTANDING SERVICE !!! We talked dogs for a minute or two and off I go to drive back home. I can't speak highly enough about the customer service I received. I will certainly spread the word about this company. THANK YOU, THANK YOU please give that employee a pay raise.

This place is the best. Several other battery stores (Big O, O'Reilly) said it was a very complicated and expensive job to replace the battery for my 2015 Mercedes Benz. I went to Peninsula Battery and he had one installed in 10 minutes and at far lower cost than the others (including one that needed a Groupon coupon). Will definitely recommend to friends.
