Rude and racist. Didn’t even get acknowledged when we walked in. Another older couple walks in a few minutes later and the the older guy who worked there was quick to jump up and welcome them in. We were ignored the whole time we were there. This place is also way too over priced and has false advertising. $11,999 for a couch down to $6999??? YEAH RIGHT!!!

Mary was wonderful, helped me pick couch, love seat and ottoman. Wish I knew names of older gentleman and lady at desk, they were nice and helpful when I went back. Other younger guy at desk tho, straight up jerk vibe.

Overpriced Garbage. Do not buy lazyboy chairs. The frame is not made of wood but of fiberboard and you are paying for quality on the lazy boy name. It is a scam. The furniture will not last and the lifetime warranty won't protect the fact you bought garbage.The sale people will only treat you right if they think they can sell you something.Do yourself a service and look around before you buy furniture. They are pretty much the used car salesmen of recliners.

After providing our information requested by Desiree H. we received a response from Desiree stating due to a store credit we need to work directly with the store. As we stated above, we have made several attempts to work with the store, Jazmin and Delores who are mentioned in our original review are the staff members we were working with. Jazmin is no longer at the store, and Delores has not responded to us in over a week. Therefore, working with the store is not possible. Again, this issue has been going on since June!

Buy something from ikea. Save hundreds.This place is selling smoke. I bought this for my gf because we all thought Lazy Boy is quality and they made me look stupid.There is no quality here. I looked under the hood and the frame is made of cheap fiber board. You can't hold 50lbs on cheap fiber board. With children? You can not depend on cheap fiber board to take the jumping or climbing.With adults you can not expect these chairs to survive the slightest wear and tear especially if hit from off angles.This furniture is the Mac Donald's of furniture.

I would like to express my disappointment as a customer and as a commercial representative myself.The lead times were very inaccurate and I strongly suspect the misinformation was intentional at the time of sales : announcing lead times of3-4 months before payment and 4-5 months after payment was accepted... it's been 8 months and scheduling delivery has been ridiculous.It took multiple follow-ups with the delivery team and the shop to coordinate delivery. Separating delivery schedule between both is a process not making any sense.In addition, the shop showed such an annoyed and condescending tone about me rescheduling with them... Anyway, you are a counter-example of the kind of sales person I intend to be.

I purchased two recliners to be delivered June 28, 2023. Mike Gutierrez was the very pleasant sales person that assisted me, giving helpful hints about the recliners and I never felt rushed to choose after sitting in many types. The recliners were delivered when expected. There was a slight hiccup as one of the recliners had an incorrect base. I called Jazmin Gonzalez, the manager, who went above and beyond to correct the situation. On two different occasions she replied "thank you for giving us the opportunity to make it right" and that's what she did. I stopped in the store after all was resolved to my satisfaction just to meet her and let her know how much I appreciated her and her "can do" attitude for my benefit. Highly recommend this store and the staff.

Buying my chair was such an enjoyable experience! Victoria was genuinely great. She made recommendations on which chairs might be best for *me* based on my height and other factors, and I never felt like she was trying to push me into an upsell. I appreciated her transparency and her enthusiasm.

Literally the wort customer service I've ever had (right after Comcast)...bought a chair 4 months ago and it broke in 100 day's and now they want $200 to fix a plastic part!? This after two days of trying to get customer service to pick up the phone. BUYER BEWARE IT ANYTHING GOES WROING, AND IT WILL, YOU'LL BE PAYING FOR ANOTHER CHAIR ALL OVER AGAIN.

This review is specifically for the La-Z-Boy franchise in South San Francisco. I ordered a recliner in October 2022. As of April 2023, I have not received it. I was originally told in writing that it would take eight to twelve weeks. Thirteen weeks later, no recliner, no messages, nothing. I tried to contact Mike Gutierrez, my sales agent, several times, but he never called back. When I finally cornered him in February, he said the recliner would be on site in the next thirty days. Next month, more than thirty days later, no recliner. No messages from Mike or anyone else at La-Z-Boy. I contacted their corporate offices (Melinda Whittington, CEO of La-Z-Boy, melindawhittington@la-z-…) and her assistant told me that since SSF was a franchise, there was nothing they could do. I'm tired of getting the runaround from this franchise. I have purchased a different piece of furniture by now (six months!) and just want most or all of my $500 deposit back. I think La-Z-Boy has nice furnishings, but this franchise in South San Francisco is absolutely the worst.

I went to this store in SSF to look for a recliner, there is no one there to help you. I walked in with my wife and looked at the recliners for about 20 minutes. To start with no one greeted us and asked if we needed help. We felt completely ignored Is Desiree a real person? She responds the same comment to everyone. I'm glad I didn't buy anything at this store the reviews are terrible.
