“I always have such a great stay whenever I’m in town, and a big part of that is because of Rakesh at the front desk. From the moment I check in every time, he’s incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely thoughtful. He remembers my name, is always super helpful with recommendations, and always makes time to check in and see how my day is going. He just makes everything feel easy and personal.
The hotel itself is beautiful with clean, modern rooms, a super comfy bed, and a nice breakfast. The location is perfect being right near SFO and they offer a shuttle to the airport! But honestly, Rakesh is the highlight. He always goes above and beyond and I can’t thank him enough!”
“When I arrived at the airport I had no idea where to go and Jamesh helped me with finding the place and saving money.
He gave me recommendations on what to do, how to save money, and how to get around. He was so sweet and made my trip great just by being so nice to me. I would stay there again just because of him.
I believe her name was Kenny, she was also very sweet and gave recommendations.
Staff was amazing, room was clean, quiet, and had what I needed . Would definitely stay again.”

“No heads up about shuttle bus from airport not running that day. It was one of the reasons we booked this hotel.
Room AC filter was very dirty/dusty. Cleaned it myself in the bathtub. Notice in room said, "This Room Has Been Sanitized For Your Safety". I guess that doesn't include the AC filter!

“We've all stayed in a hotel like this. 3.5/5. Breakfast is good with hot options like eggs & sausage. The other review about hearing the carts roll past your door is true--might wake you. For me, wasn't a big deal. My room was clean and room service was good. And yes parking is $10/day which is silly. For my purposes it was just fine.”
“This hotel is great value for money and in a good location. BART station close by for quick access into the city and a handful of fast food restaurants down the road. Friendly management, quick check in and the hotel itself is in a fairly quiet location. Great value for money. I always stay here if I have an event to go to in SF and don't want to deal with the traffic or parking in SF. Rooms include microwave and fridge and free parking. If you are looking for something luxury this isn't the place for you.”

“Front desk staff very nice. Comfy beds; couldn't hear any airport noise (big plus for that area); just a noisy neighbor upstairs one night.
The maintenance requests were handled within 5 minutes! (Needed to replace microwave, & asked for a 2nd luggage rack). Overall, very pleased, compared to nearby hotels.”

“I went here for Valentine's Day and the experience was fabulous. The attentive service was superb and the Filipino lady who greeted us was so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the chicken sandwich, one of the better sandwiches I've had in a long time. Also, the Korean steak had lots of flavor and was delicious. We ended the meal with the lava cake which added the perfect touch. Of course, we will be back again! Thanks for the great meal!”

“I booked this property last minute through hotels tonight. Very happy with the state of the hotel and the quality of the rooms being that it was not a five-star hotel and the price might have led me to an unfortunate possibility of not the greatest accommodations. The room was quiet, the bed was comfortable. they had breakfast, coffee in room yes the bathroom is a little small but for one night it was a very comfortable clean place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.”

“Just staying here because I was in town for a Lady Gaga. I prefer staying outside of the city and taking transportation into the city. Easier access to the highway back home. Clean room and great service. Breakfast was great. One suggestion - put a lock on the shampoo/soap bottles in the hotel bathrooms since they are refillable.”

“Stayed one night to catch a morning flight out of SFO. Nice hotel, well appointed room. Limited food options nearby, there’s a restaurant at the Embassy Suites next door.
Rooms: For some reason just could not connect to the hotel WiFi.
Walkability: It’s in a business park, therefore kind of remote.
Food and drinks: Nice breakfast spread. Would appreciate bottled water in the room.”

“If I were to stay in San Francisco again? I would go out of my way to stay here at the Holiday Inn Express (SFO North).
Before I even booked my stay, I called the front desk numerous times to confirm details regarding rates, location, shuttle, and more. I received nothing but great information with a warmth found usually at hotels that cost double the price that this Holiday Inn will run you. I confirmed my reservation and was picked up by the free hotel shuttle at the exact time advertised.
Once I arrived, Leah and another amazing front desk agent helped me check in. They were seriously so kind and helpful! Once done with that, I made my way into my room which I found impeccably clean. I was honestly really impressed with this.
They also let you stow your bags for the day whole you explore the city and always find a way to work with you. Not every hotel will go the extra steps the staff at Holiday Inn Express SFO North did for me, so rest assured that you’ll be taken care of.”

“Stayed here several times. Great hotel for the price, and if South SF is your main destination. Rooms have a full kitchen, appropriate for longer stays or if travelling with a family (as most brand name hotels in the bay no longer have refrigerators or microwaves). There's a Starbucks within moderate walking distance, as well as some casual-fast dining options. Fairly safe and quiet business neighborhood. Parking lot is open to the public, but well lit and maintained.”
