Marginally better than the SFO location. They rarely have cars on hand, and be sure to check the mechanicals of the car that you rent. Ours had either a blown wheel bearing or locked up brakes. The car was a 2022 with barely 20K on the odometer. I dunno who does the maintenance on these cars, but whoever takes checks in the cars or checks them out should be more careful.

Thank you for your prompt reply and apology. I appreciate your attention to this matter. However, I must say that today has been a dreadful day. My companion and I were bitten by ants while in the car. It was a terrifying experience as ants were everywhere. You can see the extent of the issue from the photos I have attached.

I rented with these guys for a few months for business. Always more expensive, but the service was usually a little more dependable. Never again. I had a 4 day reservation for $500. Trip went long and had to increase by 1 day. Price was double. $1000 for 5 days. Talked to a manager after waiting half an hour. ‘Nothing we can do’. No common sense. No common decency. Me and my business will be going elsewhere.

I had an interview at this place and comes to find out that they don’t interview at this place at all …… they have a whole job listing though indeed stating my time and location - but here the catch the link that was sent to me was for people who have experience in technicians. I applied to be a driver but when calling the guy says we don’t do interview at this location so the way y’all handle your interviewing process is unacceptable and unprofessional……..
So I’m pretty upset I took all this time just be told you’re only really hiring for technicians in a different state so please update your indeed website

Beware Hidden Fees: My $750 Overcharge Nightmare with Hertz at SFO
I rented a Tesla Model 3 with Hertz online and I am Presidents Circle with them. As we got to the counter I asked about the cost of upgrading to the Model Y and was told it would be $14 more per day. This was similar to price I had seen online and I agreed to this and took the car. Upon returning the car I noticed the charge was actually $150 more per day resulting in me paying $750 more than my original charge for this upgrade. I never would have agreed to this and immediately contacted Hertz to protest it and they did nothing. I contacted AMEX to dispute the charge. I am reaching out to their rewards and executive CS team about this as well. This was absolutely dishonest on their part and truly unacceptable. I have never had this kind of experience with a car rental company. Take this as a PSA and avoid Hertz at SFO.

The garage stank of weed. The car reeked of weed. Was not a child seat as ordered. Still waiting for them to contact me after complaining. They were supposed to contact me within 48 hours, now it's been a week. Won't be using them again.

We booked here because we read a lot of horror stories about waiting times for the rental places right at the airport. We took the bus 292 from the airport to this place which takes a few minutes. When we arrived, we were immediately served. The staff is very friendly and helped us with information and putting the luggage into the car. Returning was just as easy. The checked the fuel and straight away refunded my deposit.Can absolutely recommend renting here!

Very rude agent at the Gold Counter at SFO. There was some problem and my name did not appear on the board. Had to go to the counter and the agent seemed to be annoyed at someone and was taking it out on other customers. This was on Sept 23 around noon.

Guy at the front desk was rude. Cut me off and said "just what is it you want". I was being friendly and saying hello. honestly I've never had a good experience with hertz though.

Used bait and switch advertising, text one price for two different weeks charged over $100 more each week. Never sent invoices. Trying to contact them about issue with charges and lack their ability to send invoices was impossible. I returned the vehicle on Sunday however, they charged for the following whole week $558.17, when they had the car.I believe they call that double dipping. Never received deposit back. I filed a complaint but haven’t heard from them at all. Stay away-beware- it is a SCAM!!!!

Came in late from flight and waited in line for a while, paid ahead to save time is a joke, they did the check in and then had to sit and wait for the car behind many other people. Why reserve a car when after check in you have to wait for car to be ready.....doesn't make any sense. This has never happened before. Many other people are waiting just to get their car and there is still a line of 3 people waiting to check in.Very disappointed in staff as they talk to each other more than help customers!
