When does this place open? Like actually. Because it's definitely NOT the hours posted online (11 AM). Every time I come here, they open at a different time. I came at 11 and they'd been open for what looked like awhile, I came at 10:40 a different day, and they were already open. I came at 10:30 and they were open. This is okay...but if they open early and you come a few minutes after-then you're screwed because you'll have to wait 2-3 hours for the next rotation. And then that's it, because there are only 2 bin rotations a day. So essentially you've waisted your time even coming at all.On top of that, this is one of the most odd goodwill outlets ever. They have NO BATHROOMS (a very SF phenomenon) so goodluck if you have to go 1 or 2, are on your period, or just need to wash your hands from touching something disgusting. The business hours are short (most goodwill outlets are open at least 8 hours). They have sorters for the goodwill stores in the same building so you'll often just get their scraps. They also have people who buy in bulk on the left side when you enter, so they're often crossing over to the bins for new rotations and never waiting in line (they're probably part of the reason the staff opens early). They have no wares (almost every other goodwill outlet you'll go to has more than just clothing). There are no carts (they all get taken by the bulk buyers). The positives are that everything is cheap. You'll will find some cool things sometimes...especially on days the other side of the warehouse isn't sorting for the store locations. The shoes are only $3. The linen/blankets are $1 -$2. And once in awhile they'll put out bags.

Even for people that like "the bins", this place is disgusting and they recycle old rotations, so it's all clothes no one wants. I have been 5+ times expecting something different every time but it never changes. It's not worth the hour long wait in the line outside.

Customers deserve to be treated in the same way that resellers have us standing in line when the resellers who are dedicated to buying ready-packaged boxes, do not respect, they get in before those of us who are standing in line, taking everything in their path, what priority do they have? they ??? Why don't they do the line too????? Before it was done like this but now there is no control, some resellers are so rude, I'm not saying all of them, but why do they get involved when clearly they don't come in to buy retail, very disorganized, put control on the resellers!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ve been to this bin a few times and it’s not that great. Every-time I’ve been I’ve only found 1 nice thing or nothing. (3 times) 9/10 people who go here are resellers. Every other goodwill outlet I’ve been to is much more enjoyable than this one.

Due to the fact that this location employs individuals from the 111 Taylor St. halfway house, I would be extremely cautious around this area.I once went through the hiring process with the manager, Inga Ojeriene, & immediately backed out of the potential employment after discovering that a person named Kelvin Chen was also employed through this company. I contacted Goodwill HR Kimberly Smith & informed her that they were employing a person who routinely harassed & abused me with the full knowledge, assistance, & empowerment of the Geo Re-Entry Services 111 Taylor St. "halfway house" staff.Kelvin became more and more confident with the tactics he was encouraged to use as more time went by without any sort of repercussions from the GEO Re-Entry Services staff; he like all the roommates I've had before and after him, he was given free rein to continually push the proverbial envelope. Some of the more frequent behaviors of his were undressing in front of me, sticking his fingers into his rectum while laying on his "bunk" & removing my clothing when the lights were turned off. One day, during a fire drill, he ran back upstairs, removed his pants, and sat on the toilet with the door open. I had no idea he was in the room, let alone the restroom, and needed to use the restroom myself. Only to see him sitting on the toilet with his pants and underwear removed, exposing himself. On 9-26-21, around 2 PM, Kelvin and I had a conversation regarding the 111 Taylor St. staff. He went on to tell me that the staff does, in fact, conspire and plot amongst themselves sometimes with the "guests" to bait reactions out of me, harass or belittle me on a routine basis. With all of this in mind, I attempted to problem solve with Kimberly Smith the Goodwill HR, only to be rebuffed and then aggressively told to just agree to work at the location. If you're considering working or visiting this location, know what you're getting yourself into. Kelvin Chen is a predator of the worst sort. The type that is protected by the government & the title of essential worker.Overall, I would suggest going to an alternate location versus this one. If this branch is unwilling to to inverene in hiring predators, I would imagine the level of service is on par with its unwillingness to do the right thing.Overall, this place is not the best place to go if you're of African descent. Online shopping is unfortunately still the best route to take, as it takes profiling or potential danger out of the equation. However, there are other thrift shops, local bodegas, and clothing specific stores in The City that value not only your business but will also treat you in a respectful manner. As you can see from my other reviews, I have not had the most pleasant experiences lately in The Bay Area. However! At great personal risk to myself, I write these reviews based on my experience so that others will benefit from the experiences that I have. But always do your own research!

Not as advertised. It's a giant goodwill warehouse center - and their website online claims you can buy things by the pallet. Well that's not the case - I both called and left a message and went in a spoke to someone. They don't seem to do bulk sales at all despite what their website says. There's just a tiny area where they only sell clothes. And have you looked at their online store recently? The prices are insane, especially when you consider they get this all for free! Pretty sure its cheaper to shop on eBay.

They only had bins of clothes to look through, but prices for other items on the sign. We couldn't walk around or take a look at anything else. Disappointed.

Looking forward to going soon, if anyone cuts me , they better have hands. Not a single person is going to cut me and I will call you out for cheating.

Not worth going here if they allow people cheat the line with chairs and a family member waiting in line let more family members cut in. Which prevent u who also waited in line unable to get in. Goodwill needs to put a line waiting policy in place with staff to monitor for people safety and security.

Come as early as possible! We arrived here sometime at noon and there were barely any good items left. There were no lines - we just walked right in. This was my first time going so I have not really figured out the trick (e.g. best time to go) thus my experience was not quite what I expected. I ended up not buying anything since most of the clothes were for women and the remaining men's clothes were not something I'd wear. None of their items were washed so I highly suggest that you wear gloves and masks. They have probably more than 10 bins that you can go through. During prime hours, you might find yourself competing with other folks for the best items. From what I heard, lines do form outside and they give a group of people a certain amount of minutes to go through the bins. They then restock each bin for the next group. Since I came at noon, this was not the process I went through. I do think this is a great alternative to thrift shopping if you want to pay the least amount of money. If you're a little sensitive to cleanliness, then this is not the option for you.
