Goodwill Wholesale Warehouse, part of the local nonprofit Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay, is a bargain hunter's dream and an affordable alternative to buying new. The experience involves going through more than ten large bins of items, which are sold by the pound. For the best selection, it is advised to come as early as possible, as items can be picked over by noon. During prime hours, lines can form outside, and groups are given a certain amount of time to shop before the bins are restocked for the next group. The inventory is huge, though bins are not rotated very often. The place can be surprisingly quiet on some weekdays but is often busy, with people competing for the best items. It is a great option for paying the least amount of money, though none of the items are washed, so gloves and masks are suggested for those sensitive to cleanliness. Parking is street parking but is easier than expected. Many find it worthwhile and plan to return, calling it a bit of a wait but worth it.
Went here for eBay pickup and was quite impressed with the customer service from online auction, to the phone call follow up, and the conversation had with the employee, Leo. He had the order ready for me to pickup quickly. Positive and professional attitude.

Hectic if it's your first time. There's a schedule! They close for about 30 minutes every hour and 15.
