If u are an animal person you want to read this. I was just illegally challenged by the man at the register to prove my dog was a service animal. Bc......my dog smelled another person's pants. I've had the owner get mad bc my dog smelled a bag of chips. This is the same store that is dusty, grimy, closed the community deli that was apart of this ssf community for decades, and sells expired Gatorade. But my service dog, who is the nicest dog u could ever envision, "contaminated their fine products" by smelling them. I can not say anything bad about the woman who works there who I believe is the co-owner. She is ALWAYS very polite, cordial and friendly. But the men that work there seem to have a tendency of attacking Caucasian males. I cant prove this but if u ever go there and u r a caucasian.. ask yourself....is that how i would talk to a customer? Perhaps it's a cultural difference that I don't understand but I have never had a businesses representatives be so unkind and exhibit such a lack of manners. Perhaps different cultures don't place an emphasis on kindliness and if that's the case maybe I'm the one whose intolerant. But the way these men speak to customers is quite unpleasant. The argument that started today was because I was making a debit purchase under 10$ and had the gentleman at the font aggressively point at the sign...spelled in broken English, as most of the signage in the store is displayed..."undr 10$ one doller fee." I said yes ok. Also, just so my fellow patrons know. They do not charge this fee at Al's liquors or The Schoolhouse Deli &Liquor which are in opposite direcrions but both within block. They dont HAVE to charge this fee, but again. Money over Community. Same reason why the deli us gone. Ans the nice woman who worked there lost her job when thess insividuals bout the D@M store. I was one second late to put in my pin and got rudely told to "hurry up." I told the gentleman to relax. Then AFTER I paid I was illegally asked about my service animal. I'll provide documentation. But I wasn't born yesterday. The men from that culture don't like dogs. Idk If they r afraid of them. Perhaps just solely a fear issue. But I have trouble believing that because 6 year old young girls run up to my dog and pet him. So it's confusing but whinknows. Or maybe they r the same as cattle and nor as beloved as us amwericans value mana best friend. I really don't know. But I provided documentation which I did NOT have to do. It was illegal to even ask. And the man said he was "worried my dog might bite a customer". He was lying. Anyone w even a Below average IQ can see my dog is 100% NON AGGRESSIVE and would neverrrrr do what he was implying. Again, I hate to say it but I assume systemic racism played a role or cultural differences that do not align with every single American store owner I have ever come into contact with. My dog is a service dog. He is extremely friendly. I always try my best to be polite although for whatever reason it seems like these males from this part of the world r intolerant. I encourage every dog owner to just go around the corner to AL'S Liquor or down the Street to Schoolhouse Deli & Liquor. They have both, especially Schoolhouse which is owned by a man named Rommel, been extremely tolerant and even extra nice to my service animal. Hez been so nice ss to give him s little piecd of turkey or cheess! What a difference that kind of love makes! I won't rant anymore. I do want to reiterate the woman that works there is SO NICE. But the male owner and sidekick brother have absolutely no manners and obviously Don understand the appropriate way to communicate w other human beings in the United States of America. I almost forgot they r usually on the phone every time u get to the register. Yelling in a foreign language. Anyways. If u can avoid this store please do. And if u r relying on Google to tell u when they open even if u do want to go there don't. The owner liter

Went in just to look around during our walk. The person working there was rude for no reason and suspected that we were under 21 and tried to steal alcohol. We are both over 21 and were not looking to steal anything.

I've only been in this place once but it seems to be a busy little place for liquor. There is a little parking lot; people just dash in and out. It's just a little convenience store.
