“I've been using a mouse connected to a multi-pronged usb thingy on my Mac due to bad track-pad. The mouse would stop working on and off. Very frustrating. Yesterday, stopped by to find out cost of replacing bad trach-pad they explained around $300. One of the women working there came up with much less expensive fix $5. !!! Yup. Very, very helpful. “You have a computer problem? They will fix it.I spilled water on my laptop and bought it in to see if there was anything recoverable on it. This is a month after the spillage. My expectations were low (a mean, a whole month had gone by) but somehow, allll my data was recovered. All of it. All my thousands and thousands of pictures I take but do nothing with, old college papers, word documents, everything. I have no words. I mean, I know to go back up my stuff so this won't happen again but if anything ever does, I know where to go.”

The store seems adequately stocked, but most importantly, their personnel - at least the individuals i was lucky to encounter - were extremely courteous and knowledgeable. “Another visit to the Best Buy store on Harrison Street, this time in search of a shredder to replace one that had passed hopefully to a better place after it's over 20 years with me. Wonderfully helpful person led me to them and explained the difference btwn the lower cost model and the higher cost model. First time ever that I learned about how long one could use a shredder at one time. Explained other features. Wish I had written down his name, but I also must emphasize that everyone in the store - from security guard to people on the floor helping customers, to check out personnel and even security guards are very helpful, very welcoming, and I can only compare them to the service at Nordstroms in their glory days Selection of goods is good, value excellent. “My son's iphone had a severely damaged screen. I have TMobile 360 coverage, but since it's under Apple Care, I had to go to Apple for repair. I set an appointment for Best Buy through the Apple website. Best Buy didn't have the parts, so they sent me to the Apple Store. My experience at the Apple Store was smooth. All the employees were super nice and helpful. They took me in as "walk in" and repair took around 90 minutes as promised.There's easy parking in a lot and on the street. Sometimes gets busy, so you might need to circle a little. Next time, I'm going the Apple Store first, if the phone within the first 2 years and it's still covered under Apple Care. No need to go the the carrier for insurance repair.”
