Served as a voluntary basketball coach for 2 seasons at S.S.F location, Orange Park. Faculty \\u0026 staff were great to work with, and well organized during the season. I highly recommend those that are looking for sports activities on the weekend for their kids, this is the place. They serve the community so well.

The workers and the programs that this place offers is such a lifesaver for the kids. They remained open during the lockdowns and help kids live normal lives. They offer affordable after school care and sports programs for the community. And the sports program is well ran, and the kids get high quality sports instructions and helps a lot with personal development for the kids. It brings the community a lot closer because it brought back basketball to IBL, and added flag football, volleyball, futsal and soccer at an affordable rate.

From playing here since I was a kid to being able to help out behind the scenes and coaching basketball, Boys and Girls Club has always been great for me! There is always a good balance between competing, learning, and having fun, and it's great to see the staff involved and eager to see kids succeed.

Families/ Team :I wanted to take a moment to share my positive experience with the Boys & Girls Club of North San Mateo County. Coach Oliver , Coach Carlos, and the staff at this organization has been incredibly helpful in supporting our kids. They have provided a variety of services, including coaching, mentoring, and after-school programs.The staff members are knowledgeable and professional, and they have gone above and beyond to help our kids / athletes develop new skills and stay active. The programs they offer are well-designed and have helped our kids stay engaged and motivated.I am grateful for the dedication and commitment of the Boys & Girls Club of North San Mateo County.Coach Oliver / Coach Carlos , thank you for all that you do to support our community's athletes.JZ

Horrible!!! I've been trying to donate gifts for the holidays and all phones numbers that I have used before are no longer working. The numbers on the internet are not correct. I even drove there and ran into a young women closing up and told her what I wanted to do and please pass on my number to the person in charge. I gave her my number she gave me a new phone for the Club which was correct. I left a message for a return call and never received one. I called the same number to try again Nada! I even called the Pacifica branch to get the correct number and again incorrect information. Sorry to say the gifts will be going elsewhere. There is a lot of kids that are in need and I have a lot of people that love to help but this has been a joke. Last year I asked for a list of 30 names, ages and male or female to get an appropriate gift for the child. After 5 or 6 phone calls I had to finally threaten because they did not give me the list that if I didn't receive the list that night I would be giving him elsewhere. Last minute I received 50 names not 30 which I worked on and was able to fill. Hope they get it together, Terry G

Let’s talk about the Head Staff Miss America, she yells at kids and it’s really mean to them. I would know that because I went there. She had once had me and my friends sit in a room writing sentences and we all had to use the restroom, and she wouldn’t let us. At the time I was 8 in third grade, we didn’t get to use the restroom until we finally got another staffs attention, at the time Miss America was only a staff. She expects your children to respect her, when she is very disrespectful to your children.

Before the quarantine it was a full 10/10 experience but during quarantine our director was very very harsh and yelled at everyone for no reason. Her name is Ms.America despite her ability to barely speak english. One of my friends got suspended for the whole friggin year for "going into a zoom and insulting someone" even though he went nowhere NEAR a zoom. His parents didn't believe him and it really sucks.
