Bay Area Metals was very professional service for me. I came into the store with my (now deceased) father's dental scrap. He was a dentist for decades and had gathered up old crowns and fillings and even had left over pure gold. I added my useless jewelry (one earring of a two earring set, out of style jewelry, etc). Isaac was on time for our appointment and he was transparent regarding his process and the value. His value came to within 5% of the value I had estimated. I'm very pleased.

Great way to sell gold and silver jewelry. Sold some broken gold chains. Instead of going over them individually since it was a tangled pile, we had the option to have them melted down in front of our eyes into a bar and then the bar was weighed. Received 90% of spot. Isaac is a refiner so this eliminates the jewelry store or consignment store middleman. He does not get involved with stones but can help determine their authenticity. Wonderful experience.

I have been here several times and it's always a quick and fair experience. I have been bringing gold and precious metals to different folks for decades and dealing with the owner hear has been a good experience. I really like to ask questions about the process of smelting and assaying metals and everytime I ask questions he shows me how it's done and I think that's really cool. Customer for life !!!!!
