I was craving tacos on a rainy night so instead of going out to eat, I stopped here. I bought everything I needed....meat, tortillas, the fixins and fruit. Don't let the name fool you, it's not just produce. One good place to one-stop shop. Parking is kind of tough.

2/25/24Very bad service, so the clients had a bad experience with the ladies Rosario Eya was the one who served me, a lady who has no empathy for Asian clients. She does not have the kindness that you should have for the public. I do not recommend

Nice local grocery store that always stocks fresh vegetables. Prices are pretty good and I like that they accept credit cards. They also have a taqueria inside that I have yet to try!

1st time ordering at the taqueria and let me just say my hubby said this is his 2nd faVorite burrito ever! I ordered him a carne asada regular burrito and he loved it! I will come back to try other items in the menu. Plus the workers there were so nice!

I should be a regular customer here rather than go down to Grand and have to find parking, but Ayar is somehow off the path. For some reason everything they have aside from mangoes is top notch. I plan to come here more often and as mango season approaches will buy more and test them out again. The store is clean, the produce is fresh, and the employees are helpful.

Oh what I wouldn't give to have one of these in my neighborhood! It's a treasure cave, endless rows and rows of food stuffs, you name it they have it, which is why I uploaded so many photos, because if I tell you about this place, you wouldn't believe me. Everything from raw meat to seafood to canned goods and fresh produce, all sorts of organic and non fruits and veggies. Chips and specialty Mexican foods, a case exclusively dedicated to Mexican cheeses, entire wheels of queso. Then there's their ice cream case and tortilla shelves, plus drinks galore. Piñata's hang from the ceilings, complete with decorations and streamers, glittering metallic from high above, Spanish in every corner and crook. As if all this were't enough, a feast for not only the stomach, but also the eyes, my eyes big as saucers unbelievable sights, sounds, and smells everywhere, wafting through the air, as if all this wasn't enough, I look up and what do I see? A freakin Taqueria!!! YAAAS, that's right! They'll make you all manners of cooked foods right there! WTF? This place is a little slice of heaven! Everyone down to earth and super sweet, hustling and bustling. I don't know why, but I never buy cara cara oranges, don't. Just don't. Do I have a good reason why? NOT! O! Even though they're on every Michelin starred restaurant menu. But do I go to a store and buy them? NO! Is it easy enough to buy them? YES! But for some reason, they just looked approachable, as oranges go, as John McPhee would say, homage to his book "Oranges," and I finally after 60 years of living on this planet, I capitulate and break down enough to buy 6 cara cara oranges from Ayar. As soon as I get home, I cut one open. And had a religious conversion experience. I converted. I became religious. I had a come to God moment. That thing was one of the sweetest, most colorful, vibrant, orange succulent, juicy, bursting with fiber thing ever I've eaten in my life. Thank you Ayar. That's the thing with living: ya never know what's gonna come stumbling down your path, and today, it was not only getting my car wrapped ... but also apparently, eating a cara cara orange. Boy did we ever buy loads of things see, including pineapples and teeny tiny Henry avocados. If you're anywhere in. The area, do yourself a favor and drop in here fora wander in another land experience. Love love love :-)
