Luis from Lonora Gold, is a kind and professional owner. I will now be coming here for any jewelry / watch repairs or cleaning. He is the 3rd owner of this shop and has been servicing the area for over 30 years now! The shop itself is likely over 100 years old.
I took in a ring to get repaired because one of the side stones had fallen out. He has a great eye for detail and was able to attach the stone and reinforce it a long with the other side stone. I couldn't be happier with the repair.
Turn around time: 5/5 (repair took about 2 hours)

This is subject matter expert Luis. Helped me thoroughly replace my Hermes and Breitling watch batteries. Plus showed me a variety of the not so common 15mm bands. He gave me many options. And when I asked if able to repair my decades old Breitling with the spinning part thats very rare, he didnt have it but he can keep an eye out in case he finds one. The total for 2 battery replacements and 15mm band was $72. **2 watch battery changes were $35** Very affordable. Lonora Gold in downtown South San Francisco is literally a gem. Business has survived for 40 years (i believe?)... Lots of history and very experienced in all watch brands, clocks, and different types of jewelries. It's very reassuring the next time i buy something this valuable, that I have someone to rely on when items get worn out/ needs parts replaced.

Perfection! I had my watch bracelet adjusted here and the work was great. Super clean. The labor charge was very good. I recommend this place to anyone. Don't go to the one in Serramonte. Oh, and by the way, Luis was very helpful and professional.

I recently had an accident with my necklace and the chain broke. I called multiple repair shops and Luis was very friendly and made the experience extremely smooth. I came in and within 15 minutes they were able to repair my chain! They were swift, professional and the prices are very affordable. If you have any jewelry repair needs, I would recommend going to this shop! I will be returning in the future, this place gets a 10/10 in my books!

Love this jewelry repair place. They have been in business for 35 years and Luis is so gracious and welcoming. Reasonable prices and great service. It's hard to find a good jewelry repair shop you can trust. Been going back every time I need jewelry repaired. I highly recommend them.
