I know for a fact that there are world-class teachers and national champions riding there, but for seven years it's just felt like pure love. I am NOT world-class, nor elite, but I've been guided forward at my own pace with support and joy. It's hard to start something like riding as an adult, but they made safe, easy and fun. So fun. And I'm deeply in love with the horse I get to ride. There's a bit of a waiting list to get in, but it's totally worth it!”

They have very hard glass chairs. After sitting for an hour, you start to get a backache and want to walk around or go home. I wish they would replace them with softer chairs.”

“I've organized two 300+ people plus parties at this venue with LCFCC and would return without a doubt. The coordinator, Joy, and her staff were professional, experienced, considerate, and invested in helping make sure our event was successful and our guests had a great time. 5 stars for the entire staff. The venue itself has a naturally amazing view, day or night, which reduces the need for heavy decoration. On-site parking was ample and close. The view is also amazing from the lot. Venue has multiple rooms to choose from, we booked the entire space and was able to create activities specific to each. We selected the classical buffet amd various passed appetizers, overall the taste and quality was great. I had no complaints from the guests, all complements. Salmon is challenging to prep for large groups, and they've delivered consistently. Bar was well-stocked and bartenders were solid. Venue can provide all your standard party material and some AV. We had our own vendors for some activities, which was straightforward to arrange with the coordinator. Price was reasonable considering the included amenities onsite. Joy, the coordinator, and the team leads were onsite and actively monitoring all night to ensure a smooth event flow.”

“The most professional photo studio in Los Angeles!! They are so lovely to work with everyone on their team is extremely helpful and really responsive. Overall, just a joy to work with. As you know scheduling a photo shoot can be extremely stressful with all of the moving parts. I had to reschedule my day and thank God they were able to accommodate me. This Studio is always my first option when booking any shoots. “Parking: free and plenty on the lot of Brand park.Beautiful, old building with Moorish architecture.The library is only for art and music books/CDs. It's part of the city of Glendale library.About 1/2 the building is library, the rest is a modern art gallery and small theater.Definitely worth a visit if your in the area”

“I went to a wedding reception here...have to say it's a pretty cool place to have a party or venue...it's in the industrial part of town..so loud music is no problem..and the building is old with it's awesome new deco vibe...the parking outside kinda sucks...and definitely not in the greatest and safest area of downtown Boyle Heights..but still..it's definitely a great place to consider...I would go to this place again and again..”

“I came here to view the current Feminist Art Project exhibit. The space is beautiful and the person working at the gallery was welcoming, informative, and helpful. The exhibit was inspiring and wonderfully curated. I loved all the books and archival material. Parking on a Saturday was $10 and easy. A coffee cart was open near the gallery and several food trucks were close by at the Broad Museum.”

“This small, boutique hotel deserves every 5 star rating that it has!Check in was fantastic. I got a text the day prior to our arrival confirming details and providing check in instructions. The metro stops just a few blocks away, so it's easy to walk to if you don't want to bring a car (which there is free parking for as well).We booked the chapter 2 room, which I was worried might be kind of small and dark, but the room itself looked even better than the pictures and was very spacious and very light. The bed was very comfortable with a selection of pillows.The in room amenities were great, with a pour over coffee maker and delicious coffee and tea, really nice Le Labo toiletries, plates, utensils, bowls, cups and wine glasses at the mini bar and even a bottle of Dr. Bronner's to wash up with. There was also a record player with records which was fun and this old timey game which was also unique and fun.The location was great with being able to walk to the Covell Bar, tacos, sushi, Brazilian, coffee, pretty much any kind of food that you'd want. It was also a good workout to walk up the hill to the Griffith Observatory.Also amazing, no added resort fee. It's definitely out of the way and non-conspicuous, but if that's what you're looking for, this is an amazing hotel!”
