The people here are so friendly and nice. I'm completely new to skateboarding and I felt super hyped up about being a beginner after visiting this shop to get wheels+trucks. The guy also put on some clear grip tape on my board for no charge since I had a design on my board.
ONLY con is that the shop is really hot for some reason.

Love this shop , this is a true OG skate shop by skaters for skaters , show nothing but love to the community even if you don't skate or used to skate super respectful and friendly staff , don't sleep on stix if you didn't know now you know

Stephen is super rad, excellent vibes and great customer service. I also appreciate George with his efficient way of running his shops it's not just about a sale but he makes sure we feel not only appreciated but the love. Makes you proud to be part of the skating community.

Purchased a Powell full build for my son and a couple dad son shirts. Stephen was super awesome had some great recommendations on board build. shared some great skating stories and helped us with exactly what we needed.Wheel cracked the next day and then manager promptly replaced then. Very happy with my purchase and the customer service. Highly recommend for your boarding needs

This is a sweet shop just like its brother in Monrovia. Skateboard decks, trucks, wheels, you name it they have it. If not they're usually at their other shop.It's a niche shop that caters to skateboarders and clothing from skateboarding brands and not much else. Nothing wrong with that my son loves this place and whenever he needs anything for his skateboards Stix is first on his list of shops to visit. The people are cool, knowledgeable, friendly, and will try their best to get you what you need from any of their shops even if it has to be delivered to their store or to your home.Customer service is key ?️Shops are clean, tidy, and everything in its place.Been going there for a while now and don't see any change in that. ??✊???

Stephen was very knowledgeable and helpful with my son in selecting his first skateboard. He walked him through the parts of the skateboard, skate culture and encouraged him to be patient with the basics and build to tricks.We came in for a skateboard and left with an awesome customer experience at the South Pasadena store.

Very helpful staff! Pretty good-sized skateboard shop for South Pasadena! We found the wheels were looking for and lots of shirts, hoodies, socks too!When you go by the first time it's a little hard to find. Definitely use the street numbers.

A legitimate skate shop in South Pasadena! Incredible inventory of both soft and hard goods, the crew could not be cooler. Do yourself a favor and stop in to check it out! The pub next door is an added bonus. 5 stars all day!

I came in to complete my first deck and was helped by Frank. I explained to him what kind of skating I was planning to do and he hooked me up with the perfect set up. He explained everything thoroughly and taught me a ton of tips. I can't say enough great things about this guy. He has a genuine passion for skateboarding and a huge heart. The world needs more Franks! I would highly recommend this location to anyone, the customer service was absolutely superb. I will never push mongo again! Haha! If you read this Frank, you're awesome.
