All of the staff and teachers know each of the students. And each student is greeted personally by name each morning!

The teachers are incredible! With years of experience, great pride, and a true desire to do the best for each child, the teaching staff excels! They are well-trained and well-versed in a wide range of behavioral and academic learning techniques, as well as being truly passionate about teaching each of their pupils. Each child gets a lot of individual attention in their classes.

Our experience has been remarkably positive, from Nursery to TK to Kinder. It was a bit overwhelming and confusing at first, especially as it was our first school at the time, but after a couple months we could see the value clearly and really began to appreciate the teachers and staff.”

“We've been extremely lucky to be part of the CK fam the past couple of years with our son, from age 3 to 5. Sara is a dedicated and sharp-minded leader, and the teachers make this place special! The approach to education and growing as a person here is phenomenal, and the community of CK families is warm, diverse, and inclusive. One thing I especially have appreciated is that even teachers who are not my son's teacher have looked out for him, formed close bonds with him, and helped him to learn and grow. “We started attending Oneonta Co-Op Greenhouse class September 2021 after they shut down from the pandemic. Starting preschool for the first time during a pandemic has been challenging, however, the teachers and board at Oneonta stepped up and made our family feel comfortable. The school has a protocol for covid testing to keep the community safe which has helped ease my covid concerns. The teachers at Oneonta are amazing. I tried to keep my preschooler entertained with a variety of project before starting preschool but I don't have the creativity of these teachers. My daughter wakes up excited to go to school to play in the water table, mud river, and whatever sensory bin has been setup. The flow of the green house is open to whatever sparks the child's interest. Activities are set up inside and in the adjoining play yard. Community time is not forced, kids are able to participate in table top activities if they choose. Although the parent requirements seem intimidating I promise they're not that bad and easily achievable. I feel that my kid is very safe here. Lastly the community is so so supportive, we are so happy to be part of this community.”
