This pharmacy is very convenient. Mr. Su, who speaks Mandarin, is very friendly and helps a lot when buying medicine?.

Don't get a passport photo taken here. Over $14 for 2 photos and they weren't even taken correctly and had to retake them elsewhere. Also, the shelves are so bare...I wanted to buy some makeup but since no product is on the shelf that's not possible. How is it a store when there is nothing to sell?

Worst Rite Aid I’ve been in…I’m going to CVS and Target going forward. This Rite Aid is never stocked…they use epsom salt to fill their empty shelves to look like they have stock and it has been like that all year. This store is especially terrible for women and kids. I’ve lived nearby for 3 years and their tampon section is always lacking…now they only sell Kotex and the cheapest box is $13. They don’t sell any size 1, 2, or 3 diapers in any brand, so if you have a baby younger than 6 months, go elsewhere. This has been consistently true for months. Their pumping supplies is 10% more in price than other establishments. Their makeup section is a joke…it’s a huge space and everything is out of stock year round. Their hair section is just a row of empty shelves with a few shampoo bottles here and there. I’ve had negative experiences with their pharmacy in the past and switched my prescriptions years ago. I’ve been charged twice for items before, so always check your receipt. It has happened three times with the same lady in the past few months…is it intentional? They fix it, but still…This place is horrible all around. A lot of Rite Aid’s have been going out of business, so when the Highland Park location closed, I expected this one to close too because it’s never stocked. Either stock your shelves or close shop. I’ve waited over a year for this store to improve, but it’s not going to.

Ray in the pharmacy was extra helpful and called another location that could fill an out of stock product that was taking forever to fill.

The Rite Aid in Highland Park closed down a few months ago, and since then, I transferred my Rx to this location. Woof. The staff helpfulness ranges wildly from day to day; sometimes, it's an extraordinarily rude woman, and sometimes, it's a sweet man. The pharmacists are curt and uninterested. They have messed up my Rx a few times, either not applying the coupons when I had called ahead to ask them to use the coupon or simply NOT SHIPPING my Rx when I opted to have it shipped to me. I'm not surprised that Rite Aid is shutting down stores left and right because they are either woefully understaffed, don't have their act together, or all of the above. I'm trying to have them transfer my Rx out, but my new pharmacy cannot reach them. I get put on hold for 15-20 minutes every time I have to speak to someone in the pharmacy with a question about mistakes they've made. I'll be so happy to be through with them.

I'm sorry to say this, but unless your need is truly urgent, don't come here. Not sure if it is a corporate reaction to shop-lifting, or if this location will be closed down soon, but many of the shelves are empty. Literally. So it's difficult to shop because choices are limited, because ....many of the shelves are empty. This has been going on for awhile at this location. Don't know if all Rite Aid locations are run like this now, but I find it depressing, and a little creepy. Staff are friendly and efficient. I would try Target, Walgreen's, or CVS.

Very grateful to the crew at this pharmacy, especially our girl Lynn for always going above and beyond for our family.

Just grateful that there's still a Rite Aid, but was surprised how stocked and clean this was. Please don't close!

South Pasadena Rite is the best pharmacy and store. I have been a customer for over 20 years and always use them even when I lived outside Pasadena

I have never seen such a well stocked location. Had everything I needed. Nobody followed me around and I had my backpack with me. I am often followed in stores like this so not sure where people are getting this from. I was concerned coming in, I am not familiar with this area of LA. I see that I was worried for nothing now. I wish they had some baskets or more carts, however.

Just finished my weekly ritual of being followed around this store, only this time - when I purchased my items I was charged twice. I went back in once I realized and was accused of lying before I told them to check the cameras and give me the items I was double charged for. Racial profiling aside, I’ll be glad when they go out of business
