“I first came here to get an oil change for one of my cars. It was quick and affordable. I was also able to schedule it online, which I loved. However, what sold me on continuing my business here was something else. One of my other cars was taking a really long time to turn over. I was told the problem was the ignition switch by another mechanic but I was quoted for $1200. So I thought I might look around before getting it fixed. I asked Armando for a quote and again, he gave me a really reasonable price. I brought it in and Armando called me and told me that the battery was failing the test and that it may be the problem but he didn't know for sure. I told him to just replace the battery and call me back if he found anything else. He called me back and told me that changing the batter seemed to get the car starting just fine. He saves me a lot of time and money being so honest with me. He's really responsive and easy to talk to. He's also very honest and doesn't try to cheat you. This is now my go to place for repairs!”

“Kevin, the owner is not only extremely knowledgable, but he’s personable and reasonable as well. I’m the type that wants to know more about my car as things are getting fixed. I have an older Honda element. I brought it in to fix the vtec solenoid and when I came in to pick up the car, he had the old part there to show me before I even asked about it. There may be some mechanics that still do this these days, but frankly, that’s a great way for a curious person to instantly trust a person. Kevin is kind of a saint. Not everyone needs what I want, but I think that if you need a frank opinion on how to proceed with your car problem, he’s going to be one of your most valuable assets. I can’t say enough good things about my experience with him.”

“Amazing shop! La Auto is a great place, I brought my car in to do a quick oil change and they did it lightning fast with no problems. Also had them fix some glitches and bugs I had encountered in the electronics system. The guys really knew what they were doing and got that done too. I have a late model BMW and knowing how to work with it isn't always something any mechanic can do. I had a glitch with the infotainment system which needed special tools and knowledge which they had. Also their shop looks so neat and professional. I could see glimmers of shining new chrome tools tucked away in the drawers! These boys were amazing! 10/10 would absolutely recommend!”

“This mechanic worked on my 2006 Toyota 4runner v8 Limited. I came in with knowing what the issue was with my vehicle and they diagnosed it to be exactly what I though(aka they are truthful). They replaced multiple valves and other pieces. They use only OEM parts and guarantee there work. They aren't as cheap as other mechanics but they are defiantly worth the wait and price! Unfortunately I need some work on my vehicle and had to cancel my appointment due to funds but I still Recommend 10/10”

“My check engine light came on after a long drive from Virginia. Mr. Lu checked out the whole car for me. The rear brakes were marginal but he discovered two tares in hoses related to the intake system. I had him go ahead and replace them. I picked up my car at the end of the day. I didn't even have to ask him to show me the old parts he replaced. He showed me them instantly to better explain the problem. Mr. Luu is a genuine car lover and pure mechanic. Thanks .”
“Had a brake light warning on my relatively new to me weekend driver, which was also leaking fluid. Dismayed, I called Jim to explain my problem. He was professional and good humored. He was able to put me at ease and resolve the problem quickly for probably at least half of what I would have paid for at a specialist shop in Pasadena that rhymes with "mouse".
