Proceed with CautionI am a new customer to T-MobileI purchased new apple phones from the S. Lake Tahoe store earlier this month.When I gave my daughter the apple phone she stated she wants a Samsung phone.When I called the store they told me that I was a couple days past the exchange date.And they were unable to exchange the brand new phone for a Samsung phone.I am still waiting for the manager to provide an update.

THERE IS A REASON WHY THIS STORE IS A 2.5 rating, I was a victim of identity theft and I got turned around quickly by this manager stating he can't assist me and later I found out that he could've. I spoke to T-Mobile and they said if he simply talked to them he could've fixed it. I drove 30 min away knowing he could've helped. They just seemed lazy and gave me a cold shoulder . Embarrassing employees there to be honest

Got a phone they said was free with a trade in, service doesn't work in tahoe and had to pay full price for the phone. Doesn't seem like they understand promotions. Never got resolved, had to switch to Verizon. T mobile= horrible

The customer service here is absolutely terrible. My mom was having trouble with her phone (it was telling her she had no SIM) and the people at the store told her that her issue was because “towers are down” and that they could be down for weeks or even months. At this point my mom said she should switch services if that’s the case, the manager came out and told her “I’m the manager and I switched.” Cool. Super helpful. Luckily when she came home I took a look and was able to fix the problem by simply taking her sim out and putting it back in. Thanks for absolutely nothing ya’ll. She’ll be switching ASAP.

Unhelpful staff did not check to see if my number could be ported and forgot to terminate my plan, leading to $500 in collections.I signed up for a plan at this particular T-Mobile store. It took two weeks of phone calls to find out my number would not port over. I returned all the equipment abs received a final statement balance of $0, minus the $50 “signup fee” I was assessed for their mistake.Six months later I received a collection notice for $500. Turns out they forgot to turn off the monthly service plan. The in-store staff were dismissive, offering me no help beyond printing out a statement with that $500 balance. It took several more hours of calls to T-Mobile to have those charges reversed.

Don't know what is happening these days,but I'll give you a blast from the past. Very simple..it is not complicated.the manager--manager,mind you--- signed me up on a t-mobile account coming over from Sprint.I immediately started having reception problems ..I went back and this manager--Caleb was his name--told me that he wouldn't help me.Not couldn't. Wouldn't. Because I am in a dead zone....somehow,I held my cool and didn't Joe Frazier his butt right there and then...but I was stuck with a 200 dollar albatross and fortunately the good folks at t-mobile in Carson were able to save my account...I should also point out a hypothetical. I was caregiver for my brother,who has since passed. But if I were ever to be put into an emergency situation that depended on a cell phone and this one failed and my brother died because of it,because of that incompetent sociopathic jerk that signed me up in a dead zone and then refused to help me,I would be the owner of t mobile....

I’ve been in here three times, and will not return. Music blasts, and the manager, Luis I believe, was on his phone 90% of the time, he no interest in what I had, minus the could-be sale, and thereafter the 90% of attention I mentioned went to his phone. Associate nor manager took interest in the customer- an audit in here would see that the entire store lacks inter/intrapersonal communication : from my previous interactions I’d seen the associate-management relationship-there’s no wonder turn-over rate is so high. I have met previous associates outside of this particular location, by chance after ranting about the manager who worked there, and they have no good things to say about this particular manager listed above. Yesterday, I was greeted with the same personality I received the previous two times: arrogance and uninterested. I suggest some training for the team on how to treat a customer, and maybe this location will be more successful as the reputation here through word-of-mouth will be better than what I hear/share. This review received 2 stars as associate was helpful when after I asked him to be more clear with what he was doing in my account. I was the only one interacting-I’d assume it would be the other way around.

My phone stopped working while on vacation. Employees Lettie and Luis did everything they could to get me a new phone AND get all my honeymoon and wedding pictures from my broken phone to my new phone. They provided the best serves I've ever experienced at a electronic store!

Staff Lette and Luis were so helpful and nice. They did everything they could to help me get a new phone when mine broke while on vaccation. There were some hiccups because I have sprint. But they made it happen for me. Thank you guys!

Terrible, terrible, terrible service. I set up a bundled account with T-Mobile for internet and the phone. I was assured my current phones would be compatible. Instead of being sent t-mobile cards I got Mobile-Direct cards instead. I went down to the store and they said they could not help me straighten the situation up. I then went back to corporate and they said they could get me the phones but I'd have to pick them up at T-mobile. store. I went down there and they said they would have to order them, that they would contact me when they arrived but that they should be here by July 3. I called July 3 they weren't there. I called again July 11 and they said that they phones had arrived but they sold them to someone else because I hadn't picked them up. No phone call, no text or email or nothing.

I purchased a SIM card for a wireless router by phone. Spent almost 3 hours and was a horrible experience to say the least. Went to the South Lake Tahoe T-Mobile store and Lisset and Sherry helped me deactivate my account and went above and beyond. Absolutely fantastic customer service and the process took less than 20 minutes. I appreciate great customer service and that's exactly what I received from these great people! I highly recommend this store!

BEWARE : worst then horrible. Tried to switch to t moble from att.Was told that they had good coverage in my area, off pioneer. Zero , service in my area. Tried the switch back to att 3 days later, after trying different phones and sim cards to make sure it wasn't the service. But still no service. I was told they they would charge me $570 to stop service because I accepted the Nokia 100 phones during the few day promotion. I did not want the phone, I had a new Samsung, but agreed to take it for free. Call the 800 help desk and going into the store three times. They said, no since I took the phones they would not take them back.,Luis, the manager was hopeless and in competent, rude, and away from the issues PLEASE NEVER SWITCH TO T MOBLE. THEY ARE HORRIBLE, NO SERVICE UBLESS YOU ARE IN TOWN .

Descent enough service. If something actually goes wrong. It’s really hit or miss that you’ll get a customer service person to help you. It’s kind of typical. I had a recent situation that turned out simple to fix. But the Y location South Tahoe employees were not only rude and unhelpful. They didn’t know much about their product. After dialing 611 and going through several customer support people, I hit a rock star who’s took care of my problem in less than 5 minutes.
