Super friendly crew here. They even waxed my board while my friend was getting her rental stuff. They answered all my questions when we started talking about the finer details of creating a base pattern. Prices were very reasonable and my friend enjoyed her rental

Needed new toe straps for 27 year old mint burton bindings! Impossible to find but they were able to use some old rossy straps and we’re back in business!

Our group of 8 recently had an outstanding experience at the ski renter! We originally wanted to get rentals from heavenly resort but their prices here turned out to be way more affordable. We came on a Saturday morning at 8am and were fitted and out the door by 845am! The staff was incredibly friendly, warmly greeted us and provided excellent service. They not only helped us find the perfect equipment but also offered valuable tips and guidance, enhancing our skiing experience and snowboarding. I highly recommend this place for its exceptional service and knowledgeable staff.

The Ski Renter is hands down the best rental shop in town. Their prices are fair but also the people who work there are the sweetest. I've purchased a used snowboard for my kid from there and he loves it. They've also helped us fit our ski bindings. Phil and Matt are the best and have gone above and beyond to help me get my kid on the hill on safe and functional equipment so he can learn to love the snow. I'm so grateful for these guys! This is the local shop to go to if you want rentals, tunes, or to buy used equipment.

I came here for snowboard rentals and now I am a regular customer at The Ski Renter for good reason: the location is perfect for a day on the slopes and the rentals are a great deal. The staff were all very speedy and professional, and they were thorough with prepping equiptment for their customers. Will, Phil, Jay, and Matt were phenomenally helpful and welcoming! 10/10 recommend for all ski and snowboard lovers :)

Best shop in Lake Tahoe. Great customer service, knowledge and attitudes. Team hooked us up for rentals at best price in town as well as set up my sons brand new board for the mountain out of the box. Would recommend to all!

Best rental experience in years of skiing! Ray worked hard to fit my very challenging feet. In the end brought out new boots and I skied all week pain free. Beyond me, the team equipped our large group with all we needed. We had skiers with a wide variety of experiences from novice to expert. They were cheerful and helpful. Highly recommend.

I rented a snowboard from this place, and the strap snapped before I even hit the slopes, forcing me to trek back down the mountain on foot. This was not only inconvenient but extremely dangerous had it happened while I was on the slope. When I contacted them, they promised to comp the rental for the inconvenience and suggested I check the repair spot on the slopes. I managed to get it fixed, but upon returning the board, they refused to take responsibility for the broken strap, claiming it could be my fault. Let alone the fact that I had to go through the hassle of getting it fixed, i also wasted hours on the slope. While the place may be cheap, I strongly advise spending your money elsewhere and choosing a place that values customer satisfaction and stands by their commitments. I'm just gonna fight it with my credit card company as fraud.

I came in with my girlfriend to rent some snow stuff for the first time for her. I had all my equipment. The guys at this shop were extremely helpful and they got her set up! They have great boards as well as amazing prices, and they even helped me fix my bindings on the board I had and even said they'll wax it for free if I needed. Never been to a place that was so nice and helpful for snowboarding gear. I'm always used to super overpriced stuff but this place was the best and very affordable!! I am only coming here to rent gear if I ever need to!
