There aren't a lot of convenient ski rental shops in the Heavenly area. I didn't feel like carting my skis across the country and for the first time i rented in advance using my Epic pass to get the discount. I reserved "demo" skis and paid the additional cost vs. the regular rental equipment. All in, it was $436 for a 5 day rental. I got to the store and it's my feeling the rental person didn't really listen when i told him how i ski. I told him multiple times that i like a short radius turning ski (slalom). He gave me the equivalent of a super G ski. I returned them and he gave me another ski that was almost the same profile. I wish he and his team listened to what i was asking for. Finally, the 3rd pair of skis were great. Overall, it wasn't a great experience. If they listened to me the 1st time, i wouldn't;t have had to go back 2 more times. Also, using the term "demo" was extremely misleading. I basically was given some older skis that were marginally better than what's in the normal rental pool. Lesson learned, drag my skis across the country or ship them instead.

Such a phenomenal experience here!! Jacob and his team were an incredible help at this location. He went out of his way to help me purchase my first skis and equipment here!!! Recommend everyone coming here :)

Fantastic experience renting skis at this store - staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, they listened to what sort of ski we were after and gave great advice. It was also great to be able to leave our skis at the shop each day so we didn’t have to lug them back to the hotel. Would not hesitate to rent again from here on our next trip.

My family and I had a wonderful experience today in the shop when we came by to purchase skis and boots for our young dtr. It isn’t easy to fit a 5 year old for normal shoes let alone ski boots. The man (I believe his name was Rich) helping us was so kind and patient. I had called in earlier today, and had the pleasure of speaking with Nicole. She was very kind and informative. Answered all my questions about their Junior Trade Program, and let me know the best time to come by for a fitting. Nicole was just as helpful when we came by to shop. All three staff members we interacted with at the store were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend this location.

Outstanding service from beginning to end. Super convenient to the gondola. Staff went above and beyond to help with rental gear. Expert boot fitters who put the customer's interest / comfort above just making a sale. Highly recommend

I bought high quality boots here a few months ago, the gentleman who does the boot fitting is above and beyond. I have a narrow foot so finding a narrow boot for my skill level was a tough task. Fits perfectly and I'm a better skier because of it. Also their manager, Nicole, she's a gem. I wanted to get my bindings adjusted so my newer boots could fit on another pair of skis. They were closing and didn't have time, but she graciously called another shop that was open, told me where it was and made sure they got adjusted for free! Great people, go here!

Disappointed in the lack of customer service in this store. We came by in the evening looking to get serviced for some skis and no one offered to help even though we stood at the ski wall for over 30 minutes. I went and stood at the register hoping to call someone to assist but they didn't even acknowledge me even though I was wearing a bright colored jacket. Extremely disappointed in the lack of service. If you're looking for skis go put your money somewhere else where they actually care about customer service and sales.

Completed disappointed with the lack of service at this spot trying to rent a pair is ski boots today. Go across the street to Powder House they are fantastic and very helpful

Slow in the morning, they say show up at 8 for 930 lessons... took so long we missed our lesson... super slow process innefficient. Rent elsewhere. Also beware heavenly is not a good place for snowboarding. Kirkwood much larger. Heavenly very tight spaces, hard to even board with so many ppl ! Narrow slopes

I can't speak highly enough of Heavenly Sports. We experienced outstanding customer support from the team! We came in with one of my daughter's ski boots that had a bent piece of plastic that pushed into her achilles. Not only was the team able to professionally fix the boot, but they also effortlessly set us up with a rental boot for my daughter so that we could enjoy the slopes while they fixed the problem. And the best of all, they didn't even charge us for their work.
