Great time tubing here at Hansen’s! $40 a person per hour. Cash only. The kids were exhausted after an hour of climbing the hill. They never had to wait to ride once the got to the top.

Exceptional place for Snow tubing. The owner is very accommodating and the thing that makes this place unique is the drop and turns in the tubing hill. Really enjoyed the experience!!!

We had such a fun time at Hanson's! By far the best tubing experience in South Lake Tahoe. Family owned and easy transaction. Cash only and you get plenty of rounds in.

Really great location for young children, highly recommend, the guys running it are really friendly and helpful. The car park is just round the corner from where satnav would take you

When you pull up to the resort it appears closed but it is not! Pull around to the backlot. This is great value compared to all the others in the area. We had two kids and a toddler and this amount of time was just enough. $40 cash only and kids under 4 are free. Really recommend and so glad we didn’t pay more to go to the larger hills!

It was really fun, short ride but fun. Gotta have energy to go up and down, up and down. They let us stay until we got tired. So that was awesome!!It's easy to get there and enough parking.Nearby activities: It's nice to go andhave fun in the snow.Safety: Really safe.

Was a fun place! A little unsafe at the top as there was no space to stand, and that made it hard to get onto the tubes. But we solved the problem by holding each other's tubes when someone was getting on.

Great for all ages, including young adults too! Tubing has always been one of my favorite snow activities, so I've been surprised at how expensive and small some of the hills can be in south lake. Hansen's has a pretty large hill with turns, and steep sidewall's to keep you inside of the lane. Hansen's is almost like a giant snow slide. It's also very affordable, $40 per hour but the only downside is that it is cash only. Make sure to bring cash! There isn't a magic carpet/belt to take you back up the hill, but the walk itself is not bad at all. Will return to Hansens from now on :)

We had a wonderful time here in April 2023 , the snow was fluffy and bountiful and the kids had a great time! Although it's kind of pricey $40/Hr. per person. Make sure you bring your warm clothes & snow boots cause you'll be climbing hills & mountains!

I think this may be a case of setting your expectations, especially if you're with kids. I had a free afternoon with my two kids and thought we'd come check this place out. I recalled from a previous visit that they accept cash only, and thought they charged one fee per car. I knew we couldn't bring sleds. I was stunned when I got there and it was $80 for my two kids (they wanted me to come but I couldn't justify $120). At first I thought we'd have to turn around and leave as I didn't have sufficient cash, but it turned out they accept credit cards now, despite the sign in the parking lot stating otherwise. To be fair, the website *does* state $40 per person (again, I hadn't checked ahead of time). My larger concern is safety. I see other people complained about the employee who used to monitor the top of the hill, and the management has addressed this - which is admirable. My complaint is that during our visit we had no one monitoring the run, so multiple times a young man went too soon and crashed into my 9 year old. There was also another child who ran down the tubing run after his mom. To be clear, this was all happening on one run since the second one was closed (although a couple kids were using the closed one anyway!) I understand that one run was closed due to Mother Nature, and it's hard to find good help, etc. - but then maybe the cost should reflect these changes, or maybe it shouldn't be open for children. (If you are looking specifically for kids tubing and it doesn't need to be South Lake Tahoe, we like Soda Springs; $25 each and larger, but not overwhelmingly so). Time wise, one hour could actually be enough time for some, if your child isn't upset after being crashed into (my teenager was done after 30 minutes or so). In summary, I think if you come prepared for (a) $40 price per person (b) for one hour (c) a single tubing run (d) no one monitoring tubing, and you just want to come here for other reasons (it's convenient, for sure!) then you'll likely have a better experience than we did.

Came here over the 3day weekend last month and wasn't disappointed. $40/per person, for an hour of unlimited tubing. My group and I had such a blast! The first slide down was a bit scary. I thought it was going to be a kiddie slope, but we picked up speed fast! Every ride after, you know what to expect, so it's super fun. The donuts are big and sturdy.Guillium (the owner I believe?) was incredibly nice and welcoming. Would recommend to thrill seekers.

This place is okay. The hill is steep, making for a tiresome walk back up. If you are looking for a similar experience and free instead of the $40 a person, try kahle park. Has pretty good slopes and is a free park.

It was a fun and quick way to get some tubing in, especially if the weather is to rough to go anywhere further. It’s a little expensive per person for just an hour but very close to town

Went on a snowy day and it was very whimsical. The tubing paired with the hospitality provided our group the most memorable time. I’m sure the kids will never forget it.
