This is the worst Pharmacy I’ve ever been too, one they overcharge you. I went to Tahoe Valley Pharmacy and got the same medication for half price that I originally paid at CVS and when I asked the pharmacist to transfer my prescription she refused and told me it was against the law I found out that was not true. I called her back and told the pharmacist that and she hung up on me, so if you’re in Lake Tahoe go to Lake Valley Pharmacy they are privately owned and have good customer service and much better prices .

The staff at the pharmacy are very nice and helpful and patient. The only improvement would be to have more staff for when the line gets long at the pharmacy. The team at this CVS do their best to get to waiting customers as quickly as possible while providing good service to those already at the counter. I like the people there at the pharmacy.

This CVS seemed clean, well-stocked & organized when I recently visited, but my visit was to pick up prescriptions and that's another story. My wife had an extensive surgery just up the street at Barton and the nurses sent me to pick up all of her necessary post-op prescriptions. We don't live in town, so I really needed to get all of her meds that evening, because we would be driving back home. The first problem at this pharmacy is that they only had one person working the register. The line was probably ten or more people long. By the time it was my turn (probably 15 or 20 minutes later), the poor pharmacy tech working the register tried to be cheerful, but was clearly being overworked and was a bit frazzled. I was able to get 3 out of 5 medications but was told that there was some kind of problem with the other two. I kindly asked about alternatives or perhaps some kind of explanation and was finally told that one still hadn't been filled and that there needed to be doctor authorization on the last one (say what now? hmm). So, after getting on the phone with the nurses at the hospital, they called back in to the pharmacy themselves and tried to clear up any issues. After two more trips back into the store to wait in long lines again, I was finally able to attain all the prescriptions. This probably took well over an hour total. Yikes. This is not a poor reflection on the tech working the registers; she was actually doing a great job at handling a lot of irate people on her own. But c'mon CVS, you need to treat your employees and customers much better than this. I worked at a Longs Drugs over 20 years ago and this would have been a major embarrassment.

Worst place ever. No one ever returns phone calls. The online APP won’t let you cancel prescriptions. It’s a nightmare place.

Worst service ever‼️ I will never deal with this pharmacy againI was there when they opened, waited in line for an hour, then they told me they’d have the insulin prescription by 3.Returned at 2:45, waited & got the run around for over an hour, only to be told they don’t have insulin. Un-effing believableZero stars

Stop in the pick up some dental floss and found a few really good sales. The store was clean, quiet and warm. Which made me walk around a bit more.

My mother and I went here on Christmas morning to do some last minute little Christmas shopping for trinkets. I was sitting at the photo center trying to figure out what pics to upload from my phone of my brand new grandson and I messed up on my phone and said shoot under my breath and the over weight cashier with the blotchy skin and scraggly dirty blonde hair asked rudely if I was talking to him and I said sorry no...I decided to stop the picture hunting and went to find my mother. We ended up not getting pictures printed so we got in line with the rest of our things and while standing in line scrolling through my text messages the same cashier abruptly and very loudly told me not to film him...um I absolutely was not filming him...in fact the people in front of us and behind us blurted out that the cashier seemed to be on drugs. I usually don't make assumptions like that but my mother and I could not have agreed more. Just being treated and talked to like that was so uncomfortable and also pretty scary. I really don't know why that cashier had it out for me like that but I did tell the manager who didn't seem too surprised just annoyed. Maybe he talked to the cashier I don't know but i sure do hope so. I think I will be going to the bigger cvs or maybe to Raley's. Very very uncomfortable situation there!!

The staff at this location are excellent, especially the pharmacy staff, including Carissa, Ethan, and Britnee! They do need to hire more help, and they really need to update their POS software, interactive voice refill system for Rx, and keep more stock of life sustaining drugs.

Horrible. Made an appointment online for a covid vaccine and sat there for over 30 minutes being completely ignored by the pharmacy. I waiting in the prescription pick up line twice to tell them I have a vaccine appointment and was told to go sit and someone would be right out. Another 20 minutes go by and nothing. This place is a joke and I ended up leaving after an hour of being ignored

I wrote this when CVS asked me about my experience at their Pharmacy. In fact, the pharmacy is extremely good. I was not so happy with theAll of the employees at the Pharmacy have been extremely kind, knowledgeable, and helpful, even though their jobs are not so easy! The interfaces are very difficult, but they always work hard to serve me well. In fact, this week, I came into the pharmacy at 1 p.m.--all of the employees at the pharmacy were going on break for the lunch hour, but I asked a question. Three of the employees interrupted their own lunch breaks to help me. Even today, I feel very grateful for this. To me, it was a very personal experience. Every day, I feel people treat me so badly because I have so many flaws, but the pharmacy team at Rite Aid at the South Y have never treated me with any indignation. In fact, I always feel welcomed.I think you should give this branch a special reward. They are also kind to other customers and my mother. Even though I did not know them until just a few weeks ago, I feel very comfortable working with them. I never feel judged or belittled. They really go out of their way to do a great job. On the off chance that the truth of this email is understood as it is intended to be, I really hope the administrative team at Rite Aid's managerial offices can recognize these employees. They really are a very special lot.I could say the name of each of the employees who helped me, but to be honest all of the employees at the CVS pharmacy are fantastic.

Cashiers hang up on people intentionally, with a terrible starting attitude to boot.I called trying to help, by reporting lost shopping carts. After being hung up on by a male cashier, I called back to report such, only to have management give a lackadaisical response as if they weren't even listening & wont do a thing.Apparently this Location doesnt care about their customers or their profit (the carts). Now thats Customer Valued Service. (CVS)AVOID THIS LOCATION!!
