What you would expect in a tourist location. Merchandise was not unique. No customer service. Cashier just wanted to check your items out and get you out the door. No greeting, no can I help, no thank you for stopping,... Store was clean and merchandise displayed well. Our group spread out and searched for the specific sizes that we were in search of. Made one spontaneous purchase. Never found the size we were needing.

Typical souvenir joint. Staff was friendly. The young man was funny and engaging. Stocked up on winter gear that was on sale.

This is a chain store with 3 stores in Tahoe on Lake Tahoe Blvd. The staff at the counter, who appeared to be a manager, was the most rude and unfriendly person I have come across in a while. When I asked the woman how her day went. She told me the store is doing well. I asked how her day was going and she stated, HOW I AM DOING PERSONALLY IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.Additionally, it seemed that no matter what I asked, regarding merchandise or service, she wouldn't have cared one way or another. With this said, buy your tee shirt or jacket, but don't expect service from the staff. Very unprofessional.

purchased 9 souvenirs but when I returned home there were only 8 in the bag. Although there were 5 t-shirts, teddy bear, shot glass, coffee mug and a fridge magnet purchased the magnet wasn't in the bag. Being the smallest item it could have been left on the counter. Just embarrassing when handing out the gifts that someone was left out

Extremely poor customer service. My dad just ask if they have any other color of the mug that he liked. The customer attendant, an old lady with short hair, rudely answered back, "All our stocks are out, if you don't like anything, you can go visit other stores." Didn't even make eye contact with us. Didn't even greet us. All frown and raised eyebrows. Acted annoyed as if we were pests. Well, we came in with no one inside, made purchase over 100 bucks (we regret doing business with this shop) and some other 10 tourists followed us and bought souvenir items and shirts as well. Don't act all high and mighty as if we're the ones who need you. Be nice to your tourist customers who are putting money on your pockets and food on your table. Shame.

Every time we visit South Lake Tahoe I try and stop by Cascade Clothing Company. They are on the main strip and have your typical SLT souvenirs, knick knacks, bear and moose wood carvings, etc. They also have an upstairs area where you can choose bathing suits from. We've always been treated good by staff here whenever shopping. I never get tired of walking around and browsing their selection. A few days ago I grabbed a t shirt and picture frame to take home. I also spotted a bear that I want for the entrance to our house. I didn't grab it since I have yet to figure out how to get it to our car to get home. Maybe the hubby can carry it when I return in a few days. Definitely recommend this shop if you're ever walking around town. Great selection and staff is always friendly when we are here.

Every time I visit South Lake Tahoe, I always go to the Cascade Clothing store. They have a fantastic variety of Lake Tahoe themed items and the employees who work there are always friendly and helpful. This last visit to their store (June 2018), I went in there to see if they still carried a specific souvenir that I saw in their store 2 yrs ago (last time I visited the area) and unfortunately, they were out of stock. I spoke with one of the employees (Stacey Hernandez) and she told me that it would be back in stock in 2 weeks. She gave to me her business card and told me to contact her in 2 weeks. I emailed her and she was kind enough to not only let me know when the item came in, but emailed to me a picture of it to make sure this was the item I was interested in. I called her, gave my credit card info and within a few days, I received the item in the mail. Not many stores would take the time to do this for a customer. With this type of customer service, it makes the store that much more special. I highly recommend this store to anyone who is visiting the South Lake Tahoe area and is interested in some cool souvenirs to purchase. Thank you Cascade Clothing and Stacey Hernandez, I will be visiting the store again on my next trip out there in 2019!

I was having a discussion about the mispriced items with manager Sonja who honored the clearly priced as marked.... then employee Jessica from across the store started yelling at me. Manager Sonja was helpful and did very well at keeping her composure and remained professional even though the discussion got heated. I do not appreciate Jessica butting in and yelling at me... verbally attacking a customer!

I purchased 2 shirts on 8/15/2017... they overcharged me... transposed the numbers... instead of 45.23 they entered $54.23 in the credit card machine.. I asked them to refund me the money, they said they cancelled the transaction... turns out they had not... and since I used a different card for the correct amount of $45.23... the other charge went through as 54.23 too!... and despite calling several times to get them to correct it... they still have not.... effectively I have paid $99.46 for 2x $20 t-shirts!
