Staff doesn’t respect posted hours. They are supposed to close at 5:00PM but they won’t let you in if you come after 4:45, their excuse is that something is wrong with the “system” but this happened to be twice already. Go to the one in Atlantic if you can.

Terrible customer service! they close too early for you to do anything. Can't even check my P.O. Box after work. The lobby hours are trash. Just over all the worst post office!!!

They have the worst customer service ever I called to ask about a package of mine and some hag answered and after asking me where I'm calling from I told her and she hung up on me and I tried calling back to speak to her supervisor but she ain't picking up she a dum old b**** that going through menopause she so rude she even made me come out my character on here but she deserve being called a b**** stupid old hag

This Post Office is BY FAR the worst in Southern California!! Yesterday (12/3/21) was a great example: 1. Parking lot chained up and closed. Construction? No. Maintenance? No. Any legit reason? No. They simply wanted to limit customer access on a busy Friday in December with higher volume of packages beginning to move through before Christmas. Pure laziness!! 2. Big sign in the lobby "IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 5 PACKAGES.......GO SOMEPLACE ELSE". Really? I read every day about the USPS crying for more money because less and less people are using USPS. Gee.....I wonder why. Not only is this sign in violation of multiple USPS regs.....it is SUPER-indicative of the ULTRA-LAZY culture at this particular office. Could you ever imagine FedEx or UPS actually REFUSING business? I think not...... 3. I kindly asked the young lady behind the bullet-proof glass if she could PLEASE make sure that my five packages get scanned today. Said "please" and "thank you". Even threw in "have a good day" for good measure. Did ANYONE bother to scan them? NOPE. Here I am .... over 24 hours later and NOT SCANNED. My clients are sending me messages this morning saying "I thought you told me you mailed the packages yesterday.......but I see that you haven't..... why are you lying about sending the packages?" So my good name and reputation is tarnished by a gang of government workers who refuse to follow policy and refuse to do their job properly. Probably because they know it would take an act of Congress to be fired. I look like a liar to my clients .....thanks to the brain-surgeons who work at this USPS location. Hopefully the packages will eventually get scanned..... And this is not the first time....I have had several other drop-offs where the first scan does not show up until 48 hours (or more) after drop-off. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! The USPS Postmaster for South Gate, California should resign or immediately be fired for incompetence for allowing his/her people to operate as they do.

This post office staff is really bad. They are lazy. They don’t deliver mail properly. Maria Echauri Is scared of the employees doesn’t fix the issues. Not even in other places in LA have given me so many mail delivery problems. I have called consumer affairs hopefully they will fix the issues.
