3637 Tweedy Blvd, South Gate“Hey, it's your everyday treasure hunt..u honestly never know what might walk out of there with..Gets me every TIME- walk in there and end up walking out with something that wasn't even on my mind...”
“This thrift store is an absolute gem! It is one of my favorite local shops to visit when I'm in search of something specific or just in the mood to shop! There are always sales going on of some sort and I never leave empty handed! The staff is super chill and I can't wait for the next time I go shopping here!”
“Moved into a new location 3318 W Jefferson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90018, lots of signage and lettering. They aren't finished setting up everything yet but still lots of stuff to check out.”
“The staff is super friendly, and you can find good deals. I once bought a collectible there like half the price you can find else where !!It’s literally a gem !I love going there ps they accept Venmo , which has been handy for me since I tend to not care cash .I always take family when they come out of town and tell my friends cause I love this place .”
“This boutique is beautifully curated with lots of cute clothes (sizes varying w an equal variety from S to 3X). Great deal for clothes mostly $15 with a few priced up or down slightly. I LOVEEE that it is sustainable resale fashion & a job opportunity program. The ladies running the shop were helpful and lovely!”

1202 N Alvarado St, Los Angeles“Lemon Frog Shop is an absolutely wonderful vintage store, and I highly recommend checking it out for any of my fellow vintage clothing lovers!! I've found so many incredible items there, and for excellent prices (especially by LA standards haha). The store's layout makes it extremely easy to shop efficiently- everything is organized by price range, item category (tops vs bottoms vs dresses vs accessories, etc), AND size, so it's very straightforward to find what you're looking for without having to dig through everything else! (but it's also still plenty easy to just browse/see what cool pieces you find if you don't have something more specific in mind). While the store itself and all the pieces there are fantastic, the biggest reason I wanted to write this review is the owner- you can tell how much passion has gone into this store just by interacting with her. She's very knowledgeable about her pieces, extremely helpful with any questions you might have or anything you might be looking for, and just super kind/friendly/a lovely person overall! She's truly made every one of my visits to Lemon Frog so far an above and beyond experience each time, and I'm definitely looking forward to going back again soon!!!”
“If you're looking for some very nice thrift this is the place to go!They have a great blend of different decades and everything is nice quality.I found an amazing pair of shoes but they were too large by a size.Their pricing is completely fair.I'm adding to my list of mystery stop at thrift shops!”
“Cool lil spot to do some thrifting! It's a cozy and welcoming location to explore and find cool pieces! I have found some awesome pieces for a great price (such as genuine denim jeans for less than $10!!). I will say though *some* items, not all, can be overpriced considering the wear and tear, overall design, and "age" of the item (I guess vintage will always be upped in price anywhere lol so no biggie), regardless they still have other awesome and affordable selection :-) CANT FORGET ABOUT THE ONE AND ONLY SUNDAY! Sunday is so cute, she definitely lifts the ambiance with her presence! I love how she lets you know when she's had enough petting Awesome place to visit for sure!”
“Walking through the crowded aisles is like walking through that warehouse at the end of "Raiders of the Lost Ark." Whether or not you are looking for something in particular, you will find something here... Actually you will find many "somethings" as this place is a cornucopia of interesting items. Mid-century modern furniture seems to be in abundance, but turn of the century cuckoo clocks, lamps, and pretty much anything else you can imagine are yours to find; Just make sure you have a few hours to actually go through the isles, this is not a place for a cursory review. Staff is great. As for value... what is the value of a treasure?”
“What is going on! Amivet on South Street in Long beach, the Prices are sky high, an item is triple the price. What was $1.95 is now $3.95. NO LONGER any $,95 items. No longer the loyalty program , seniors now get a 10% discount rather than 20%. Only 1(one) color give you 50% off and there only about 10 items to choose from. Why are they asking for change donations when ALL the items were donated in the first place? Its cheaper at the $ dollar store.”
“Wonderful Thrift Shop with all kinds of very reasonable finds. Clothing to toys and knick knacks and even some jewelry and more. I believe the ladies are volunteers and they're always helpful and pleasant. You won't go out empty-handed.”
“I've been going to this spot to thrift for years and I gotta say that even when i don't find what I'm looking for originally, I still end up finding something I wasn't looking for at a good bargain and just as cool. You get to know the owners for a while little by little, their respect and service keeps getting exceptional. If you know how to thrift, you know there are successes and misses, but Son of a Vet is still a fun place to find whatever attracts your interest and amusement.”
“I purchased my bedroom set from Alameda Thrift &New Furniture and let me tell you it look better in person then it look in the catalog it exceeded my expectations. I have purchased many pieces of furniture for this and I will continue to come due to the excellent service, professionalism, and the price. If you're ever in this area give this little gem a try and I bet you will be really be intrigued with all the catalogs they gavefor you to fine the perfect piece for your home.”
“This thrift store is amazing, to put it frank. Their selection and pricing are better than almost any other thrift store I've been to. I've gotten essentially steals like a $14 CD stand worth around $200 (although in somewhat poor condition) and a place to store tapes for only $4. I've gotten mugs, ice cream makers, vinyls, books, vintage TIME magazines, you can find a lot of stuff at prices that might beat stores like Goodwill or The Salvation Army.”
“I like the weekends because they have live music and in addition to going shopping you can dance and enjoy the snacks they sell there and because you have a beer”

18600 Crenshaw Blvd, Torrance“I recently purchased a patio set from Habitat for Humanity which I saw posted on their FB page. I immediately ran over, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. Not only did they help me find a great deal on the set, but they also went above and beyond by assisting me in loading it into my car. They had some cute furniture pieces. Their customer service truly made my shopping experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Habitat for Humanity for their excellent service and quality products.”
“Hidden Treasures Await at Pair My Swap MeetPair My Swap Meet has become my go-to destination for an eclectic array of finds, and it never fails to deliver. From the front section brimming with discounted items, returns, and Amazon finds to the hidden gem of the back section, there's something for everyone here. The back section, particularly, holds a special charm with its second-hand market offerings. It's like embarking on a treasure hunt where you never know what gem you might unearth. From finding a missing spoon to stumbling upon a complete set of china with just one plate missing, the surprises are endless. The variety of items available is impressive - from tools and clothes to dishes and toys, Pair My Swap Meet truly has it all. Personally, one of my recurring favorites is the selection of used towels. Sold by a vendor in the back, these towels, though unsellable for uniform companies, serve us perfectly well at an incredibly low price point. They're durable enough for regular use and disposable enough to not fret over wear and tear. What sets Pair My Swap Meet apart is not just the items for sale but also the experience it offers. It's a chance to get some exercise, stroll around for a couple of hours, and immerse oneself in the thrill of discovering random treasures. Even if you don't end up purchasing anything, the experience alone is worth the visit.Pair My Swap Meet has undoubtedly earned its spot as a weekly destination for me, offering not just goods but also a sense of adventure and excitement with each visit.”
“Lovely store! JAM PACKED with tons of items. More of an antique store than a thrift store, but lots of modern pieces as well. The workers (owners?) were all so lovely. Each of them greeted us and let us know they were there if we had questions. Will definitely be back!”
“This is a fun thrift store located on Narbonne Avenue just a short distance off of Lomita Boulevard. When you walk into this shop you will be overwhelmed with all kinds of items. They really have a lot of stuff. One of the main things about this shop is that the prices are not very high. Whereas some independent thrift stores tend to put a high dollar amount on their items, this is not the case with this shop. Thus, you can discover some really interesting and unique finds and not have to pay an exorbitant price for them. As can be expected, the shop has a wide variety of items. They have jewelry, books, electronics, clothing, you name it. You never know what you'll find here, and it is always evolving. In terms of parking, there's a lot of street parking in the area, so getting a spot should never be an issue. Overall, if you're in the area, this is a great store to come in and take a look, you never know what you'll find.”
“Hi my friend house foundation is the greatest place because they help so many people in the world that any one need help Tiffany rose go beyond to help people in need of food clothing and other things plus she care”

2621 W 8th St, Los Angeles“Awesome small thrift shop. Great deals for beautiful antiques, dishes, appliances, and whole lot more of second hand items and collectibles. Employees were kind and chill and lent a hand when we needed help.Luis, the Owner of the shop helped my family out. We were looking for a hospital bed for my immobile sister and he actually had one. We told him how she became disabled, and how we had been struggling to look for a hospital bed. Luis had sympathy for us and actually offered the bed for free. Initially we denied and tried to compromise for such a resourceful item but he insisted. He told us that if we truly needed it to take it. At that point we didn't hesitate to agree. He willingly put his intent to profit to the side, and for this we could not be any more grateful. Thank you, Luis.”

2720 E 11th St, Los Angeles“I really like this thrift store. I have been there twice now, about 6 months apart, and have had a great experience each time. As mentioned there are 2 levels, clothing upstairs and household stuff downstairs. The staff are really nice. I mainly go for clothes, but was eyeballing some furniture today, which they had a decent amount. The clothing sizes have been kept in order on the racks for the most part, making it easy to find my size. I have found great stuff each time I have gone, from a nice rain coat, dirt cheap, to a very nice complete dress suit setup and a couple of tshirts for dirt cheap.I'm not sure what the people with negative reviews are expecting. This is a thrift store after all, not Santa Monica Place or Fig At 7Th. But you are going to have issues with people every now and then wherever you go.”
“Such an awesome and easy experience! I am now more than ever motivated to seriously purge items I'm not using!! Fast, friendly and excellent customer service!”
