Unbelievable and extremely despicable what I experienced today, October 7th, at Quick Stop auto parts.I went to return one of the radiator hoses that I bought on September 27th. I bought two hoses.The return policy clearly stipulates that I have 30 days to return an item.The hose was not used. It wasn't a special order, and I had the original receipt.This is a transcript of what transpired while I was trying to return the hose.Employee:Are you going to buy something?Me:Not at this time. I don't need anything.Employee:I can only give you store credit. You bought it more than a week ago. You only have a week to return it to get your money back. I am just following store policies.Me:Why, I have 30 days to return the item. (I pointed at the return policy sign posted in plain view right behind his back).Employee:I am going to credit you $24.00 back.Me:Why?Employee:Because I have to charge you 10% restocking fee.The hose was $29.09. Obviously, he wasn't charging me 10%. He was trying to rip me off.Me:There shouldn't be a restocking fee because it wasn't a special order.Employee:You are making me waste my time.He saw me taking a picture of the return policy disclosure, and then he proceeded to refund my money. He seemed very upset because he couldn't take me for a ride.I asked for my original receipt, which he kept behind the counter. He ripped off the receipt, which showed the items that I bought, and he only gave me back the debit card receipt, which showed the amount paid.Extremely reproachable and deceiving tactics to try to take advantage of me and try to rip me off by not wanting to issue a full refund based on lies and violating store policies.What a con artist!I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. In case that you have to return an item make sure that you get full refund and not just a partial refund.But, mainly avoid this place at all costs.

Horrible place to buy from I called over the phone asking about the return policy on this and they told me I was able to return it as the part was not used I come walking almost 5 miles just for them to tell me I can’t return it due to the box being stepped on saying that it’s used when the pet is clearly unopened and still in a sealed bag this is something that should be said over the phone upon having the customer make a whole trip in this heat just to get refused in the end it also something that should be said upon purchase that everything has to be in perfect condition including the box in order to return it the part is not used at all it’s in the same sealed bag as it was when purchased and given

Would not recommend this place to anyone. You are better off dealing with a teenager at autozone compared to the old homosexual grandpas that sit behind the register at this shop. They run their shop with the mindset of "i know more than you" rather than trying to be helpful. I came in to have some balljoints pressed in for my honda prelude, when i came in to ask they were rude and seemed like they did not want to do the work but they reluctantly accepted and said to return in half an hour to pick up. I come back and see this BS. Whats the point of having a press if all they are gonna do is grab a hammer and chisel to beat the balljoints into place. Every picture i provided you can see damage done to the point where one balljoint was prematurely leaking already. They did such a horrible job that they even managed to damage my spindle (where the wheel hub is mounted on to) These old dudes genuinely suck I wouldn't trust them with any machine/press work and as far as it comes to parts, they dont offer warranty nor do they accept returns even if THEY sell you the wrong part KNOWING its the wrong part. I would give these guys no stars if I could dont go here

They order the wrong parts and still charge you a restocking fee, THE OWNER IS A PIECE OF SHHIIITTTTT!!!!!!!! F*** HIM!!!!!!!!! Doesn't want to pay the restocking fee for his employees error and could careless about your wasted time. Go to CLARKS AUTO PARTS. Correct parts, friendly service!

Skeptical at first, but all it takes is 1 stop at quick stop and you're set. Frank the man the moth the legend is my go to guy. If he doesn't have it, he'll find it and 99.9% of the time he'll get it for you in about an hour. Ordered 4 different clutches for the same car online, and at the Zone, only for them to be the wrong ones (exedy pro clutch for a prelude 08708) wrong diaphragm in the box 3 times, ordered the valeo clutch at the zone, arrived damaged 2 days later. Finally went in, talked to Frank, ordered me a Luk clutch (German) got it 1hr later. Need parts for my Datsun 620, call up other places "we don't have it" call up Frank "I can get it for you in an hour" if you talk to Frank, you're 100, talk to the younger guy (Guero) you're golden.. talk to the older guy with glasses (sorry señor look online) any who. That's my point of view with this place. It's great, old school, and can have you're stuff at a pretty reasonable time. They turn drums, rotors, etc. Need machine work... I think they have that too. (Yet to use that service) That's my honest review. I don't like doing reviews or talking bad about people but this place deserves its credit. Treat others the way you want to be treated as a consumer and a retailer, the customer is always right is not the way people need to think. We're all human and all are entitled to make mistakes.

This is the worst auto parts store to go to! They gave me the wrong parts for my vehicle and all sales are final. People working there don't know what they're doing. I also purchased a beverage and was charged for two! Told the owner about it and he said " I was not here so I don't know". Wouldn't recommend this place at all. They have the worst attitude and uneducated. I recommend going to another body shop even if it's miles out.

Went here just to get a fitting for a trans line and the guy who helped came around the counter and started showing all the parts he had and where to look. Very nice and helpful.
