Even helped me check on a product online that we found to no longer be in distribution. This was my first time in and it won't be the last. The woman at the counter is super nice and knows her stuff about the products they carry. I was looking for some paint to fix a transit van. I've been back for supplies on a prius paint job, too. Both times had a great experience. I showed the paint code for the color I needed, and they made it in a couple minutes and I was shown some options for clear coat and polishing compounds, etc. Everything was labeled by hand, and she wrote the mix ratio for the paint + reducer and clear+ hardener to make it all work.
Just very attentive and made sure I knew how to use everything and was really pleasant to talk to. That kind of one on one service is becoming rare, and it was nice to get some insight and advice from someone who wanted to make sure I was taken care of. The gentleman in the back that makes the paint is real kind and asks about what you're painting and makes sure you're getting the correct products. I will always come here first for now on. The prices are really reasonable, the employees are knowledgeable and attentive and it's quick.
What more could you ask for.

Above are some of the words I would use to describe Carlos & Yvette (and Team), the owners of Renew Painting. In a short period of time (the past month), I've utilized their service two separate times already. I have a rental property in Torrance but live almost 400 miles away. My decade-long tenants moved out, so I knew we had a lot to fix up. Painting the interior of the townhouse was one. I received a total of 3 quotes -- 2 were through a family friend who's a realtor and 1 through my own research -- Renew Painting. From the very beginning (estimate phase), Carlos and Yvette were wonderful to work with. We conducted everything through FaceTime, emails, texts, & phone calls. At no point did I feel uncomfortable being far away. I was even able to get Carlos to help me with multiple non-painting jobs around the house. His knowledge and skills are second to none. “Great paint buying experience! Michelle helped me pick out a few colors that all worked great with my living room. She steered me away from some choices that were too dark/bold for my smaller space, and when I painted swatches on the wall I completely understood her logic. I also really appreciated that she didn’t rush me despite my arriving close to closing. I am so happy with the color and quality of the paint I bought, and I’ll definitely be returning to this specific location for future projects!”
“I went to this location with little expectation of getting my questions answered because I was certain I had irreversibly messed up my apartment walls by retouching spots with the wrong kind of paint. I had the right color, but was using an egg shell paint on a flat painted surface...which I didn't notice until I had retouched the entire townhouse before realizing that it was drying with a shine instead of flat. I had covered all our walls with these shiny spots and it looked horrible. At this Dunn-Edwards location, I was helped by Stephen, who was so patient and supportive in guiding me through how to potentially correct my mistakes. He was kind, informative, and eager to get the right match. And he was 100% right in his suggestions. It worked beautifully and my horrible amateur painter mistakes were corrected! I'm so very grateful for his help!”

“I have been coming to this store for over 5 years. I love this paint!! It beats Sherwin Williams and Home Depot any day. Additionally, the customer service has increased for the better in the past year or so. I have remodeled a few houses and always have ton of questions due to strange paint jobs from previous owners. Their new sales guy Jorge is very patient and considerate with all my questions. I recommend this store highly.”

I expected a watered-down product involving several coats of paint. No, it was the real deal: a thick, one-coat, nationally-recognized brand of paint that covered the job in one coat...at an unimaginably low price.

“I went in to Sherwin Williams South Gate today to purchase paint for my kitchen cabinets and had a very pleasant experience. I took one of my kitchen cabinet doors and they matched the paint perfectly. Everyone there was very nice and was impressed how orderly and neat the store was.Sergio was extremely helpful and very resourceful.
