Many days has passed after experiencing the worst customer service at the Honda/ Van Nuys Service Center Department . On November 18th my husband and I took CR-V for electrical problems; the car was left overnight. On November 19th around 11:30am I decided to call because I did not heard from anyone to give me a report about the kind of work they will do the car. When I call, I will admit that I gave the wrong description of the car and the person who answered was not able to find the car; to the point that my husband left work to go to the dealer to make sure the car was found. The employees Omar and Tonny were talking about me calling me names / upset that I made them waist time on the phone. When my husband arrived he did not say anything to Omar and Tonny that he heard them talking about me. Omar told my husband that the car was found and they will work on it; my husband turned around walked away and stopped to call me to let me know that the car was found, when my Husband heard Omar and Tonny talking bad about me and calling me bad names because I waisted their time. My husband approached them to make them aware that he heard the way they were talking about me, both Omar and Tonny got defensive and Omar denied how he was saying, that they were referring to a coworker. My husband told them it doesn't matter they should not be talking about anyone the way they were talking because they are representing a company. We talked to a supervisor informed of the situation, he apologized and said that he will follow up... On November 20th we went to pick up the car around 6:45pm we noticed that the car was left with no gas ; we reported to the manager Jason of course he stated that he can't do anything about it because is not his department and can't help to put gas in the car. The car had 1/4 of gas when I left on November 19th, someone drove the care for 13 miles and spent my gas and for them not to put it back it was not right.
Jason stated to us that he will give the report car service department about leaving the car with no gas. As of now, I am still waiting for a call back at least to say "we apologize that we left your car with no gas"...
Extremally bad customer service, be alert about Omar and Tonny and the rest of the Supervisors, once you signed a contract they don't care about any other issued ; everyone become rude and not honest (read the contract carefully, they add couple of $1000.00 of dollars to the contract without making you aware). Regarding the dealer, like any other business all they care is to sell the car once you signed the forms they do not care about any other issues. I let lots of days to passed for me to write this customer service experience, I am very disappointed how Supervisors at Honda / Van Nuys dealer handled this matter. If they only knew that just a phone call from a supervisor to say I am sorry that you went through with some of the employees, etc, etc. I wouldn't have not give a bad report and cero start. I want to help others not to be fool but this dealer.

I got my car serviced. Best song Playlist for customers waiting for their cars to be fixed! Also, fantastic coffee and donuts. Seating is excellent and comfortable - lots of couches and work stations. Great wifi. Everyone very friendly. Highly recommend this place for any Honda car servicing.

I had excellent experience with them. I purchased the 2025 elite odyssey. The manager, salesperson, and finance were super nice and helpful. I used to get my cars from Honda woodland Hills, but my experience here was much much better, I will definitely recommend this dealership, and I will come back at the end of lease to get my next car!

If you decide to come to this Honda Van Nuys Service Center, I will advise you to only work with Miguel Cuenca because he is amazing. He was my advisor when I used to take my car when they were just Keyes Honda on Sepulveda because I got the from Keyes Van Nuys. I stopped taking my car there because they kept damaging my car and losing stuff as well. After constant damages to my car and taking it in 4 Saturday in a row to fix one thing after another I stopped. Miguel took care of me and got everything fixed for free. They might have new mechanics now so it might be better but always remember to take your own pictures before dropping off your car. Miguel also helped my wife car a years ago when her AC died and it ended up being the evaporator core. Miguel knew exactly what it was and told me to work with Honda Corporate for reimbursement because it's a known issue.

You all be extra careful if you decide to take your car for service there ,I took mine for a water pump recall, they fixed it all right but for my surprise on my way home after a have picked it up I heard a warning that the motor was dangerously hot I immediately pulled over and turned off I waited until it cooled off and checked it , for my surprise ! There was no water in the radiator! It was late when I left so I couldn’t go back to the dealer cause was already closed, so I added water and coolant to it and went the next day for an explanation they wouldn’t take any responsibility the manager was rude and tried to imply that I probably hit something and made a hole on the radiator there was no hole on it I still driving my car with no problem thank god for it it didn’t get damaged , sorry im writing so much but I just like to warn you all to be careful if you have to take your car there

He has an excellent attitude and customer service, this was in the sales department at the beginning of the year.
But currently we have to do maintenance and other problems that come along the way with the car.
The maintenance department is horrible, very bad service, starting with Tony and Sylvia, they take good care of those who like them. I chose this place because I did business there but it leaves a lot to be desired. Today I went because I had already made an appointment but when I arrived they did not attend to me.
I wasted my time and lost hours of work.
And there is no one to make a claim.

Miguel Cuenca has been an outstanding Service Advisor. His attentiveness, diligence, genuine care, and professionalism have made all the difference to ease the overall negative experience and chronic issues I’ve dealt with since March '22 regarding my most recent car purchase. If there are any recognitions in his department to honor employees, he deserves them all. Thank you, Miguel, with so much gratitude.

Never going back here. Stay away. Worst customer service i have ever seen.The parts white guy with long beard Rudy Galvez yelled at me for asking questions about parts before purchasing. Unprofessional.

I never go to buy parts from dealer. And thought let me buy just this one time. Big mistake .
Update: **Formal Complaint Review:**
I had a awful experience at Keyes Honda in Van Nuys. During a recent visit, Rudy, a parts associate, yelled at me, a customer. I immediately reached out to management for assistance, but I received no response or update for an extended period.
Today, Tuesday, August 13th, 2024, at 10:20 AM, I finally received a call from the parts manager. Unfortunately, the conversation only added to my frustration. The manager's response was dismissive and unprofessional. He essentially told me, "I'm sorry you took it that way," implying that the issue was with my perception rather than addressing the unacceptable behavior of their employee. He stated that their employee denied yelling, and since there was no "evidence," they would not take further action beyond possibly discussing tone with Rudy.
The manager's repeated use of phrases like "you may have perceived," "you felt," and "miscommunication" was patronizing and insulting, as if I was not competent to recognize when someone was yelling at me. This approach not only deflected responsibility but also minimized my experience as a customer.
I am disappointed by how this situation was handled. There was no accountability, no sincere apology, and no meaningful action taken. It seems clear that Keyes Honda in Van Nuys is more concerned with protecting their employees behaviors than ensuring a respectful and positive experience for their customers. I expected much better from a reputable dealership and am incredibly disappointed with this entire ordeal.

I was looking to buy a car, and there was nobody there to show me what they had. I was interested in a Civic. I left, then went to Hyundai in Mission Hills, same thing. I went to Galpin Volkswagen and bought myself a Jetta. No regrets.
