“Since my student health center at my college was not available, I looked for an urgent care nearby. I did a quick search via Yelp and read the reviews for Vermont Urgent Care & Multi Specialty Center and decided to visit their website to schedule an appointment to be seen that day. The website is easy to navigate and I was able to schedule an appointment within the hour! I called to check what the cost of the initial consultation would be and it was very competitive compared to other urgent cares. I loved how the location was easily accessible via public transportation as I can't even imagine parking in K-Town, lol.Upon arrival I let the receptionist know I was there for my appointment and she gave me a few short forms to fill out. I was paying out of pocket and she let me know the consultation cost and I confirmed I wanted to continue. I was brought back promptly by the nurse who took my vitals. Not more than two minutes later the Dr came in and did my assessment and was able to prescribe the medicine to be picked up at the receptionist desk. I appreciated the Dr's kind. bedside manner and I did not feel rushed.Upon checking out my total was under $100 and I was quite grateful.If I ever need another urgent care visit, I will come back to this clinic!”
“I selected Dr. Yau as my primary care physician based on his Yelp reviews and my first office visit. Since then I have been even more impressed with each appointment. First, the business and administrative staff is friendly and efficient. I have had very little waiting time and the post-visit follow ups by staff are great. Second, the nurses are calm and conscientious. I liked my last primary care physician but everyone at his office seemed harried and overworked, while Dr. Yau's team (they really do feel like a team) seem to be comfortable in their roles. Last but not least there is Dr. Yau himself. He is caring, warm and comprehensive in his approach. He seems genuinely interested and curious about my health. He is an exceptional communicator; for instance, in offering explanations about treatment alternatives and recommended approaches. On top of all that, this is a rare facility in Monterey Park where those who speak English, Mandarin, and Cantonese can feel welcome.”

“Our mother had her immigration physical here and we were so satisfied with the care received throughout the whole process. It's unfortunate that they do not have immunizations available at the office, hence the reason I gave them one star less (4/5) but other than that, Dr. Shaw was very helpful, attentive and thorough. Maria was very helpful, as well. We would definitely recommend this office for anyone who needs an immigration physical or if needing a family practitioner.”

I usually feel pressured/uneasy when it comes to getting checked up, but with this experience it made me think other wise. I came here to get my vaccinations and mind you.. I AM SCARED OF NEEDLES ! The assistants reassured me and was fast with the injections! I recommend this location based with my experience.”
“I love how Dr Arévalo takes care of me. I have been going to that clinic for years. Lately, I've been calling, and after 10 minutes on hold, they hang up on me. There have been 6 times that I have spoken at different times and THEY DON'T ANSWER! The service of Dr Arévalo; It's unique. Super professional and listens to my questions and/or doubts. Please talk to the people in charge of the phone. If they don't like their job, let them quit!!!”

She was very nice and gave me advice on how to improve while still giving me the referral I needed!The clinic is Nussle in a shopping center. I did wait around 30 min after my appointment ( Which was fine). The DO quickly saw me and I was out in a jiffy.”

“Normally I really like this place, they usually get us in and out and do what they can to find out what is wrong with you. However today, they closed at 6pm due to "inclement weather" while we were only experiencing normal rainy weather. That was disappointing because my daughter really needed some care and they were closed early. Pretty disappointing as she had to go another day w/o medication. There was no need to take her to the E.R, urgent care is what we needed in this case.”
“I have met the most remarkable people at Carbon Health who have helped me through two terrible falls. I am 78 years old and I have two wounds, one on my shin when I hit the corner of my bedroom furniture that Sarah, a Physician’s Assistant has been taking care of me for the last month. Sarah has worked with wound care for the last three years and is highly trained. Friday, I took another fall and the paramedics came and took me to emergency at Los Alamitos hospital where I had 19 staples put on the outside of my knee and they stitched up the inside also. I went back to Sarah and she is now taking over the care of my knee. I can’t say enough about this fine woman and her team of nurses. My many thanks to P.A. Sarah Sarahi, the lovely nurses, Ashley B, IreneY, Mony, and Dr. Manish Saha. I will continue to go there for all of my health needs. It is so much better than trying to get an appointment with your own doctor!!”

“Just went in for a new patient appointment. The waiting room only had a few patients waiting while i was in there. 2-3 at one time. Only took about 10-15 minutes to be pulled into a room. Staff was friendly. Saw Nazifa Paillet, NP-C, and she was great and informative. Everyone I interacted with was great. I was out in about 45 minutes total. So far, I would recommend and had a great experience. I'll update after my pap-smear in 2 weeks.”
“Amazing experience! Just had a consult and was very pleased with the level of care, at first I was hesitant given the reviews but ultimately gave her shot since she’s locally convenient for me! She gave me multiple options for treatments and advised referrals would be given to specialists she recommended I should see. Maria, the lady in the back, she is also very attentive and great help in explaining. Celeste and Alejandra and Josefina are wonderful ladies and assisted with such professionalism!
