Bought a sugared ham for Thanksgiving, the night before, kept it refrigerated until I was going to cook it and as I opened it and had it cooking the nastiest smell was getting stronger by the moment. I tried to get my $24 plus tax back for that ham and the manager said I hadn't bought it there, even though I showed her the receipt. Will never buy there again.

We bought cupcakes on December 2 and it said it expired December 29 so we bought them we ate them and the next day we eating some and we saw mold on the bottom of the cupcakes

I find every thing I need, fresh produce, meats are fresh nice customer service, their bread made freshly every day-the best BOLILLO or BIROTE ever soft ready to use for TORTAS....BEST MARKET!!!

Angie, the most Vicious Cashier at El Super Market! Easily (5/5) I just visited El Super Market in South Gate, CA, located off Firestone and Garfield. I had the opportunity to interact with Angie, a check cashier who has been serving customers for over 20 years. Angie's service is second to none, and impressive. From the moment I stepped into her checkout line, Angie's warm smile and friendly demeanor made me feel welcome. Her years of experience were on full display in the way she effortlessly handled each transaction with speed and efficiency. The line moved quickly, and I was amazed at how smoothly Angie managed to process each customer while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Angie's outstanding customer service skills truly set her apart. Not only was she lightning-fast, but she also greeted each customer with genuine kindness and took the time to engage in friendly conversation. Despite the hustle and bustle of the store, Angie remained calm and composed, providing exceptional service to every person she served. Her dedication is extremely apparent. Ah, the Mexican grocery store, where meat mysteries abound! Is it the quality or the processing that gives off that unique smell near the meat section? We may never know. On the bright side, the store is clean, the staff is friendly, but selection is limited. And let's not forget the parking nightmare, especially during peak hours. Overall, a solid three stars for this adventurous experience!

Absolutely the best prices on vegetables in town we're talking like half price and besides that their butcher counter is one of the best in the area as well so many people are there you have to take a number and always fresh.
