Thanh Loi Tofu is a hidden gem for tofu lovers. Their fried tofu with mushrooms is definitely the standout dish on the menu. The tofu is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the mushrooms add a great depth of flavor. While the service is okay and the ambiance is a bit outdated, the delicious food makes up for it. The prices are very affordable, making it a great spot for a quick and tasty bites.Overall, I would highly recommend Thanh Loi Tofu for anyone in the El Monte area looking for great tofu.

Do not recommend. Very rude service. After purchasing the several tofu desserts, we noticed that they did not give us the syrup (which goes with the desert). My husband asked for it and the older man ignored him and walked away after taking his money. When my husband politely asked again, the older man did not say one word and finally gave 1 small container. We then asked if this would be enough for the amount of tofu we purchased as we purchased lots of Tofu. The older man yelled "NO MORE!" I don't like writing bad reviews on small businesses but life is too short to shop and deal with rude people. There are so many great desert places in the SGV that it isn't worth it to come here!

This place is easy to find and but the shop is very small and doesn't offer a wide selection of products. Although they have the regular items but depending on the time you go, they may run out early.

I love their freshly fried tofu, banh tieu and soft tofu. It's well priced and is freshly made every single day. What more could you ask for?

It a mama and pop shop but the lady is not nice at all. I don't know what you other encounter but 3rd time is a charm for me. She doesn't change her attitude. We ask if she have any more fried mushrooms tofu left? She snapped at us and look at the wall. I told her we are not asking about the price. We are asking if you still have any for sale. She have no customer service. If she is mad or have some personal feeling please stay home don't come out and give attitude to customer.

This is a family business and the older couple are the sweetest people. This be my family's go-to tofu place and it has been for the last decade and more. This place has fresh tofu all the time. I know because they pretty much make a certain amount for the day and when they're sold out of the item, that's it! I love getting the following items: - Tofu in ginger soup (hot aaand cold, which is in the fridge) I would get cold in the summer because of the weather - ^ but Pandan flavor tofu, which comes with coconut milk with sago as well- Fried tofu (I get regular sized tofu and also bigger ones to cut in triangle shapes to cook stuffed tofu)- Fried Tofu with black wood ear mushrooms (bombbb)- Cha Oc (Vietnamese pork roll with escargot, think Cha Hue, but with escargot or regular cha with seasoning in it) They season this very well. It's super fragrant since they use a lot of kaffir lime leaves and the price is honestly great for the portion! Best Cha Oc in SGV! - Soy milk, which they also have pandan flavor as well! I would recommend coming as early as you can if you want everything fresh or even to get your hands on these items because the sell out, especially the cha oc. Definitely would recommend!

Tofu products here are the best in San Gabriel Valley. Fried tofu, regular or mushroom, always made to order & done with perfection. Soy milk hot and fresh daily. Service has been consistently cordial & courteous.

This place has the best tofu and soy milks (so many to pick). Incredibly cheap prices for great quality. Try the yogurt, and the green soy milk. Never had unsweetened fresh soy milk and now it is my favorite
