His music and energy make it fun, plus he encourages you progress when he sees that you're ready. 6546 Comstock Avenue, Whittier“looking to build strength to help my ultra running I decided to try out Crossfit Whittier. The first day I visited I was impressed by the member and coaches who were very welcoming. I've never done crossfit so it was a little intimidating. After the first class it was on. I was hooked. Each workout can be modified which was awesome for someone like me who has zero upper body strength. After a couple weeks my fiance decided to join me and really liked it too. Both of us have been coming to Crossfit whittier for about 4 months now. This gym will change your life. My favorite part about this gym is by far the coaches and members. Give it a shot you won't be disappointed.”

1044 W Covina Pkwy, West Covina“started coming here a couple of months ago and i’ve honestly been enjoying it so much! i don’t really like traditional gyms or running, and the workouts are challenging but there’s enough wiggle room to adjust for your skill level so i work up a sweat every time. facilities are clean and all the staff are great; they’re super helpful if you don’t know the exercises & are great at motivating you when you need that little push.”
“I have been going to Carina’s for 3 years now. My session is an hour and starts with 10 minutes of cardio, followed by core, then arms/legs etc. A few people come in every half hour and so there ends up being around 3-6 people working out at any given time. But she prescribes different exercises for each person based on your individual strength and needs. I started going here toward the end of the pandemic because she diligently wipes down all the machine after each person uses it. One of the best things about Carina’s is she creates a very friendly and social environment. It’s the reason I have been so consistent about my two times per week! Everyone enjoys talking to each other and I look forward to catching up with my new friends all the time! She offers sessions Mon/Wed evenings and most mornings.”
“I tried BAMFIT for the free week and it was an awesome experience. I haven't worked out in years but the Coach from the class made me feel so comfortable. You could tell they love what they do, and they enjoy it! Totally recommend BAMFIT. Jesse and his staff are very nice and welcoming.”

I've been training for 20 years and have 22 professional MMA fights and he just beat me. He comes from a high level lineage!! Check them out!”
“I go there specifically for muay thai (but they have other stuff) - the place is clean and also have weights so its 2-in-1 bonus.I love they focus on techniques, not just cardio, people are very nice, and love can do sparring.”

1750 E Huntington Dr suite a, Duarte“I have been a member of many gyms throughout my life but never have I looked forward to working out like I do at Powerhouse. It’s like circuit training/ weight training and it is all done in a group. Plus it’s like having your own personal trainer. The staff are so welcoming and friendly! From what I can see, the members love it too!”

10412 Lower Azusa Rd, El Monte“We didn’t get the memo, but great minds think alike. These Rebellion Nation hoodies kept us warm, but 10 minutes into the workout, they flew right off. What I love about Rebellion Nation is the culture. We’re not just members, we’re family. They keep it fresh with new workouts, new trainers, and new competitions. Would definitely recommend to friends and families.”

1019 S Stimson Ave, City of Industry“I can already feel and see the results since I started the 6 Week Boot camp at PH! Im on week 5 and I love how all the Trainers make sure you are doing the proper form to get the best results and so you dont injure yourself. Overall its a great environment to get you back to the best version of yourself!”
“Huge fan of this small studio, the energy the teachers bring is exactly what one needs at 7 in the morning and it's such a lovely way to start the day. The workouts are challenging but not overwhelming and they each take the amount of time that one feels sufficiently worked-out without over-extending. Really love this place :)”
“Finally, I find the thing! Okay, so I love group fitness classes, as I would rather die than roll around alone sweating on my living room carpet, therefore multiple pounds of Covid weight have been adorning my frame, and did I mention the baby that I had during lockdown? After the dust settled, I ventured out to Core Power Yoga, which mysteriously did nothing for my body after daily sessions for months (it could absolutely be my total lack of energy in a sauna, not blaming the place). I tried in vain to rejoin my old Zumba studios, which had closed, and I did do some Pop Physique, which I love, but was very aware of the lack of cardio and strength in my life...I walked past those stressful looking cross fit barn places with men lifting heavy things and grunting and knew in my soul that I needed it, but would never, ever, do it. Running from station to station crazily in a circuit is a step too far. Then I walked by SPENGA. I am now maybe twenty classes in, and it's time to review. I really, really love it! Basically, as everyone has said below, doing something for 20 minutes makes you give it your best shot. I don't like spinning for an hour, but I sure like 20 minutes of trying to hit the zones on the screen to music. It's in dim lights which is awesome, you can make crazy faces, and no one sees. Took me a minute to figure out that I should up the resistance on the bike to hit the mythical 'sweet spot' but I've figured that out now. I really like the strength part... you walk over to your own POD with all the stuff and you DO NOT HAVE TO walk wildly around a room, you just stand there, and there's an instructor AND videos to follow for each exercise. I am doing things I would never do, just through the shame of being watched! My arms are really toning up already. I'll have to try a bit harder for the mid section but that's on me. And I feel it coming. I can do a far bigger range of movement already...Then you go to the yoga mat. You do a reasonable flow for ten minutes and then some nice twists, and chavasana. It's an opportunity to work out any body kinks during that section, as no one is hassling you to follow along exactly if you find a body spot you want to keep stretching.I emerge feeling very exercised, but not exhausted, with at least an hour of active fitbit minutes, when power yoga sometimes gave me about 3. The facility itself is clean, sweet smelling, has free parking and everyone's really nice and welcoming. Yep, this one's a winner!”

13300 Whittier Blvd, Whittier“Oh my goodness! Where to start?! I absolutely love this place. Crossfit Blvd is now my second home as well as my family's. I have never in my 33 years of life been able to stick with a workout much less enjoy it! I came in a bit scared to be honest because I had never ever done anything similar but since day one with coach Yvette and her light, positivity, and encouragement I knew I could challenge myself to do it and be consistent. Three months later thanks to the coaches and the community I am going consistently at least 5 times a week and actually nailing Crossfit movements and getting healthier at the same time! I can hold myself on monkey bars, pick up my toddler or 50lbs dog food like nothing, if that's not proof I don't know what is! All the coaches Carlos, Rich, Katie, Meghan, Amanda, Mark, and Drew are so welcoming, encouraging and overall amazing human beings so thankful for them. Each and every class is an experience and overall amazing time. They also offer a kids class, which my kids absolutely love (9&10) they make it fun yet challenging and they can't wait to come back every Saturday. Who knew working out could be so much fun! Crossfit BLVD you have already changed my life in ways I never thought possible I am so grateful for this place and this community. I seriously cannot wait to see where I am a year from now and hopeful that this wonderful place will continue growing and impacting the life of more people like it did for me. Don't even think about it just come! We'll have an amazing workout and you'll meet some of the most wonderful humans in the process #crossfitblvd4life”

The athletes at Mutiny are top notch and are extremely supportive, no matter your level. I look forward to my crack of dawn workouts! Thank you CJ, Robb and the entire coaching staff at Mutiny.”

“I can't express enough the gratitude I have for the coaches at 626. Their expertise, encouragement, and dedication have been instrumental in my tremendous progress, especially during the transformative phases before pregnancy, during pregnancy, and postpartum.Pre-pregnancy, the coaches helped me build a solid foundation. We focused on strength training, stability, and cardiovascular fitness. I learned to listen to my body, exploring boundaries while respecting its limits.During Pregnancy, as my body underwent incredible changes, my workouts were adapted daily to ensure safety and well-being. We modified exercises, emphasizing pelvic floor health, core stability, and gentle movements.Postpartum! The road to recovery after welcoming my precious little one, was a delicate period that I didn't realize how important it was to have proper training. We eased back into exercise, considering my body’s healing process. The encouragement to start slow, focus on form, and prioritize self-care was invaluable.Reflecting on the journey today, I stand stronger, both physically and mentally. My energy levels have soared, and I credit this transformation to the coaches at 626. Whether it was a virtual session or an encouraging message, they were there, cheering me on.So, from the depths of my heart, thank you. Thank you for being more than coaches; you’ve been my allies, my motivators, and my champions. As I continue this journey, I carry your wisdom with me, knowing that health and wellness are lifelong pursuits.”
