“Man oh Man... Cultura Y Mas have been down for years as an independently owned social justice/ chican@ clothing line. They have bomb sweatshirts (around 45) to t-shirts (prices range) of everything you can imagine from La Virgin to Obama.. Che... Chicano/ Chicana Pride.. Dia de Los Muertos themed.... I LOVE their shirts.... they also have some kick arse bags with rosas, Zapatistas and other political and social causes.... all of their products last forever (I still have shirts from ten years ago that are still good and still have the silk screen on them). When I was a college student I used to love going to conferences and checking these folks out.. I can only do it once year when I take my students down to Santa Barbara.... but man it is worth it. As my home girl Flor says "buy local..support mom and pop stores!"”
