Took my car in this morning needing two new tires. They were able to get the tires and got the car back to me by the afternoon. Amazing service as I just dropped in with no appointment. They were very helpful and price was great! So happy with Wilson's, highly recommend!

Ok for a basic issue but more complicated repair resulted in three return trips to get it right. And even then we had to stop at another tire center 150 miles away on our road trip because the car was vibrating so badly . It was out of balance and the lug nuts arrived stripped. Now it is better.

This review is long overdue, reflecting a visit last March. I came in during one of the massive storms that hit Santa Cruz last winter, flooding and trees down everywhere. I had a flat tire and an ill fitting donut on my car. The man working ( I think the owner) was all by himself because none of his workers could make it in. He told me honestly that he wasn't sure if he could fix my tire and watch the front, but that he'd try.I sat at the coffee shop across the street and tried not to panic. What this man did not know was that I had just spent a week in San Francisco while my daughter was in the ICU. My last morning there, I came out to a flat tire. AAA came out and put my donut on, but it was the wrong size so I had to get towed back to Santa Cruz - during a crazy monsoon. I had 2 days to pack and get ready to take her back to Oregon with me. I was stressed out, running out of money and needing a miracle.So I came back to Wilson's a couple hours later and this amazing fella had fixed my tire. I didn't have to give him my sob story or beg, he just got it done. I know he was just doing what he does everyday, but it was the break I needed. Thank you kind sir, for fixing my tire in the middle of a wild storm when you really could have reasonably said no.

I stopped in for new tires for my beater truck. Juan was friendly yet he charged me literally 150% of the market rate for the tire, before labor. I asked him to select an inexpensive but decent quality tire (he didn't do that either) and give me a fair price, and I indicated I wasn't going to scrutinize or haggle. He did the total opposite--he selected a very high end tire, and he overcharged me substantially. I learned this with a few quick web searches afterward. Lost a customer for life. Unless you want to haggle your tail off...Avoid! I wouldn't trust someone like this who takes advantage of a local customer. Sad.

I have run into Wilson's 3x now over the past 4 years with a hissing tire or an imbalance light or a needed patch repair. They are always welcoming and such a relief to get me on my way quickly - and often with no charge! This week was a bad week on a personal level, all the worst stressors lining up right before the holidays and on my way to an expensive appt my tires got a huge hole in it - I was around the corner from WIlson's so I ran over there with the tire fast deflating - They looked at it, told me it would be 15min - I asked if I could come back in 40 and still make my appt - they said "Sure". When I returned, there was a spare tire on and they explained what happened. (Giant piece of metal stuck in my tire). They cautioned against only replacing 2 tires due to my AWD drivetrain (something my other tire place does not think about). They refused to take my money - I basically had to insist like 5 times to put a tip in his hand - and i was able to drive away and get my kiddo on time. Sometimes there is a tiny light in a sea of darkness that makes all the difference. Thank you Sergio.

These guys are very pleasant to deal with, but I have had a couple of negative interactions and wouldn't recommend them at this point. 1) I went for an oil change and after asking what oil they'd use , i was told it's a "blend". I have never heard that one before. When I returned, they'd added an up-charge for patching a tire-- but they never called me to alert me of the issue before adding the extra charge. Nor did they show me where they had patched the tire. I felt like I had been taken for a ride, and left having paid $200 for an oil change. 2) Prior to my oil change, I had an alignment and tire rotation done. One year later, I took it to another alignment shop as I noticed my front tires are worn super unevenly and need to replaced despite only having ~20k miles on them. They found my alignment was way off, which presumably killed my tires. I discussed it with the folks at Wilson's, and they had no explanation for other than that the specific alignment issues wouldn't have caused the tire wear in question, and that the's just "how the car is" (I have owned this car for several years and this has not happened before).
