They significantly cut back the access hours to the lobby for those of us with PO Boxes. And there's no key for us so we can't get in to pick up our deliveries. I recommend somewhere else if you're looking to get a PO Box. They really should set up a door with a code or something so we can get in.

Don't get a PO Box if you want access here. Access hours extremely limited. PO Boxes used to be a value, here the prices have gone off the hook and availability gone way done. I do like the quality of the staff when open.

I'm writing this review because of the person helping us yesterday. She has ALWAYS been so incredibly nice and just a delight!! She is so sweet. Can you imagine how many lives she touched just by being kind You could be having a very hard time and her kind smile can completely change that even if it's just for 10 minutes. What a true example of a kind human being There was a person there who I haven't seen that was just utterly horrible. It was criminal how he treated people. Blatantly not caring about people and making you feel so uncomfortable. I felt violated every time I went there and he helped me. It reminds me of my workplace and having people working in the same office that make people feel so bad when our job is there to provide support during a most needed time. It's just inhumane to mistreat people because you can get away with it. Thank you to the woman who works there for being an example to do many people.

It's silly to see two post offices right next to each other (less than a mile away). It's important to note that this post office closes at 4:30 and not 5 o'clock. Advantage of this post office is that, since it is so small, people seem to avoid it which means there are not long lines MOST of the time here. Disadvantage is that there's usually only one person working the front counter so IF they ever get busy, expect to wait. The plastic sheeting they have hanging as a barrier to prevent Covid transmission is tacky and decrepit. If the employees no longer wear masks then why even have this barrier up? Perplexing...

Tall man dark hair at counter not usual employee very abusive and beyond horrifying rude. Screamed at me for pushing the bell when I did not and refused to listen to my needs throwing inappropriate item at me and telling me to get out because thought he could get away with abusive behavior of a old lady. A horrible abusive employee. I called the post office general and made a complaint.

There are two stars because at least there wasn't a line when I went. However I was extremely annoyed by the fact that I brought in all of my own packaging, which was just a small envelope that I did not want to lick, and they wanted me to buy a four dollar roll of tape to mail a two dollar small envelope. He said the tape wasn't in their budget. One single solitary piece of tape. How many rolls of tape would you go through in a year if you gave each person only one tiny piece of tape? Is it that serious? Every post office I have ever gone to has never had a problem throwing a piece of tape onto an envelope for a customer. As if it comes out of their paychecks or something. Rolls eyes.

Firstly, I love my mail carrier, so I don't want her to be lumped under the umbrella of the US Post Office. I think she is fabulous and works very hard. What I cannot stand is the man behind the front desk. I don't know what his name is, but I have only see one man working here; there seems to be a consensus with other reviewers regarding who this man is...I assume I am talking about the same one. My husband received a letter that needed to be signed for, but we missed our mail carrier. I took the slip, with his signature authorizing me to pick up the letter, to the Post Office. Just to be on the safe side, my husband also drafted a written letter stating I, HIS WIFE with the same last name, could pick up this letter. Even with the authorized representative section filled out on the slip, the man behind the counter wouldn't give me the letter. I showed my ID, my husband was on the telephone, AND we had two written documents saying I was the authorized representative. NOPE! I had to prove I lived at the residence as well. Are you kidding me?! Why would the slip only require a signature stating an authorized rep could pick up the mail and not specify that person had to live at the residence! What if I was doing this on behalf of an elderly neighbor or someone in my family who just got surgery?! Nowhere does it specify on the slip that I must live at the residence. In other words, he was simply being an a**hole to be an a**hole.Well, I pulled up some random email from my garbage company, and it had both my name and my husband's name on it. Finally, he decided to give me the letter. Let's just say, this guy deserves a slip stating his a** is fired.

They lost my wedding dress!!! The company sent it UPS so I assumed it would get here, but for some reason the last leg of delivery was USPS and guess where it got lost? The last scan was UPS delivering to the post office, then USPS marked it as undeliverable and returned to sender. The sender verified the address with me, it is correct, and they still haven't received the returned package almost two weeks later. This post office either stole it or just threw it out! My wedding dress!!

P.O. peeps are great. Friendly, diligent, and frankly, friends to the greater Soquel community. Thank you, thank you, for your service.

Joel was so rude to me. I was explaining I wanted to buy postage now and then drop it in the mail box later. He interrupted me twice, I asked him to please let me finish , he refused. I said, " it's rude to interrupt me like that", he said, " fine! Whatever!" and continued on. Its not nice to treat people like that. Just person to person it's uncalled for. We all live in the world together and have stuff going on. I'm super disappointed.

I have to add review here because of what I witnessed. Man named Joel who was working at the counter was HORRIBLY rude, mocking, and disrespectful to an elderly woman customer. She was apparently not moving quick enough for him, and was having a little trouble hearing him. There is NO excuse, this guy needs some MAJOR sensitivity training, and from what I saw, that probably wouldn't help. Just made me feel like crying

I always appreciate our Soquel post office. They are friendly and efficient. Sometimes the lines are long but I'm sure it's hard to estimate a crowd day to day. Overall this post office is clean and friendly.

Why is the hold time 32-55 minutes on a regular Friday morning???? Plus the fact that it's nearly impossible to even get to that part because the phone options are completely useless and don't allow you to speak to a human.
