Tara Redwood School is a great place for our children to grow and become compassionate members of the greater community. Our kids have been attending Tara since they were literally toddlers. My daughter begged to go here. She says no other place touches her heart the way this school does. She's thriving both academically and socially. And I love the community and the way we all work together.

Tara Redwood School's mission is to empower children to make a positive difference in the world. We offer a curriculum and environment that nurtures the innate positive qualities of each child. We believe in educating both the mind and the heart. The school strives to stimulate the joy of learning and an opportunity for each child to fully explore their particular area of interest. Tara Redwood School uses an integration of Montessori academics and the CCC (Creating Compassionate Cultures) pedagogies. CCC is a 7 step program that focuses on a step by step full sensory development of the person's emotional intelligence and understanding of communication of feelings. We teach mindfulness practices at a very young age.
