They wanted to give me $7 for a brand new helmet with tags and all that was too big for my son. All he wanted to do was TRADE like they advertised all over their commercials, website ,and store. Sent my son home sad and disappointed. To top it off we got ignored by one of the workers so he can stop mid sentence to stare at a female like a pig. You know that look when you see it, and boy did he stop mid sentence just to oogle her.

I recently visited Play It Again Sports, hoping to find some good deals on used sports equipment. Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing due to their extremely high prices for what can only be described as schlocky used goods.
First off, I couldn't believe the prices on their used chairs and USED shoes.. The chairs were only five dollars cheaper than brand new ones at Costco! For such a minimal discount, I'd much rather buy new, especially considering the questionable condition of some of the used items. On shoes, they priced them 25% less than new, for used shoes? What a joke.
The final kicker was their pricing on weights. I found several used weights priced higher than new ones available on Amazon. It's baffling to think a store specializing in used equipment would charge more than what you'd pay for brand new items online.
Overall, Play It Again Sports seems to miss the mark on providing value for money. Their prices are not competitive, especially when comparing to just buying new.

The name says it all, but they have new equipment as well. You'll find anything you need to get on the court or field and the staff is awesome and answers all your questions. Shout-out to Jeff who helped me with some baseball items today.

What a great spot, especially for those with kids who frequently grow in and out of equipment. The staff is very friendly. We didn't try selling our old equipment, but it was a good experience as a buyer. Lots of choices and helpful staff.
