“This place is amazing! We had the seared tuna. The portions were large and very delicious and fresh. Their desserts are homemade and very tasty with a cup of hot coffee. You can get anything to eat here hamburgers, sandwiches, salads etc love this place and the owner and kids who sometimes work there are very nice! It's a combo gas station, fancy market and deli. There is a nice side patio to eat whatever you order. love it. We have been here several times when we are in the Aptos area. Gas up, eat and drink and go. There are lots of items for a quick picnic on the beach too!”
“I left a review 6 years ago but felt I the need to leave an updated one.Although it has always been a 5 star place, the full coffee bar, amazing handmade pastries, jams, sandwiches and soups, pottery, herbs and tinctures, clothing, jewelry, and stickers as well as a fantastic selection of organic corner store needs. For such a tiny place they have an incredible selection. The local community vibe including learn not to burn, herb classes and the much awaited Mom's and Daughters group make it extra special. This family owned and operated store is one of those places we NEED! I've watched this kids grow, learn to bake, make coffee, run the register and go off to college. Thanks Gina for supporting all of us!If you have the urge to go in... JUST Do it! Let's love on this little shop as much as they love on us!”
“Folks, there is no better feeling than an early morning pit-stop for fuel @ Safeway Gas on 41st Ave... and receiving a bonus of $1 shaved off the fairly decent price of petrol at this particular station. Scoring a full top off for the vehicle & getting 5+ gals in the can for $3.69/ gal.
Feeling thankful & fully appreciating the rewards-program of Safeway.
WhoooooOOOOOOP!!!”

He is the best thing that ever happened to that part of Safeway. He was helpful and was immediately there to help and offer ideas on things to try. Awesome customer service skills. I hope he stays. The previous time I was in the deli a month ago, there were five employees behind the counter One was making a lot of sandwiches, after About 15 min, I asked if someone could help me. The answer was, "the lady who is making sandwiches will help you". i then said there are four other employees that are not doing anything except cutting cheese of doing other stuff. When there are 5 customers in line, you would think they would help the customer. and, to top it off that employee was rude and really did not care if anyone asked to be helped. I'm very happy Safeway decided to hire this young man. Excellent choice. I don't know his name.”
“Great people, great produce! I always enjoy stopping by for a few extra goodies—their selection makes cooking fun! Despite the small storefront, they offer a wide variety of locally sourced fruits, vegetables, and more. I especially love their "bargain bin," a fun tradition that has become a staple for my family's weekly meals!”
