Great customer service and got some good help from every one, also had a nice conversation with the cashier. Only downside it Seemed the manager was on a power trip not treating his staff super nice, otherwise a good experience.

Horrible customer service I had to wait over 20 minutes just to get a SSD out of the glass box no employees in sight to help me asked multiple people for help they said they'll be right over there

For an ‘old school’ brick and mortar store, they still have a good selection of products. Seem to be a decent amount of employees on the sales floor but when I got to the registers it was a ghost town. They had employees helping customers at the repair/ service area, so once someone was freed up there then they rung up my purchase.

I have always been greeted in a friendly way by the person at the door and the folks at the check-out area. That said, I've been in 10+ times over the last few years and my experience has been that there is a barely-existent culture of customer service at this Best Buy.
I have wandered the aisles / stood in a department for 15-20 minutes and cannot recall a time that a single employee who is not engaged with another customer has ever asked if I needed anything. I've seen plenty of groups of employees standing around talking to each other, employees slowly restocking shelves, employees walking somewhere with little urgency.
I used to work at an electronics retailer while I was in school, and I don't expect service like I am royalty, but it blows my mind that the folks that work at this Best Buy don't see it as part of the job to at least come by and ask if I am doing okay and if I needed any help.
I prefer to shop in-person rather than online, but sadly this Best Buy has been so unhelpful thus far, I can't find a good reason to not just do my own research and buy from an online retailer.

Actually, I’m impressed with the guys who did the install on our aftermarket audio visual system in our car. Knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and kind and they know their stuff. In particular, thank you Ryan.

There's rarely an employee there that actually knows what they are talking about as oppose to just agreeing with me about something. I know way more about everything sold there than anyone there yet that company acts like they will only hire elitists to geek squad. Order online if you can or order ahead and don't rely on customer service too much.
UPDATE: 3 years later and the hiring culture there hasn't changed. Right now the selection and shopping experience is great based on more stuff being available as opposed to the past. They have a whole PC hardware section now! That's great, since my PSU went out in my PC and I didn't want to have to wait a few days to get it up and running. The 2 young men who seemed under 20 had no clue where anything was or even how to formulate a conversation. The first one directed me to a laptop charger when I asked for a "power supply". I understand the younger generation doesn't know the difference but when he said "it'll be around these aisles" and it was completely on the other side of the store it was clear he was just a body on the floor. The second kid asked me if I needed help and I said no but tried to strike up conversation by saying "this pc section is new, huh?" He just awkwardly smiled and turned and walked away. The biggest bummer for me is that people just don't seem to enjoy working there over the years and that's why you end up with robotic uninformed children as employees. I would like to see some people with passion in there at some point in the future because I like meeting and talking with people and the BB brand has made it's efforts to keep up in the tech world but it doesn't attract winners to it's operation. They should incentivize pay and commission more but that's clearly hoping for too much. I just hope they don't go out of business in the future bc we will all be forced online and sometimes purchasing in person is necessary.

The secret shoppers they higher follow you and camp in the front and even when I went to the restroom. I went in with my friend to get new phone cases and the secret shoppers were rude. Probably will go to another place.

Dishonest, they don't inspect open-box products to determine if they work, and when they are defective, charge you the full price rather than what you would have paid when you originally bought the item.
