Gave this place a shot as there's no touchless car washes in the area. Mediocre job at best. With the wait time I could've done a rinseless wash on my car at home. Sat in a line of 5 cars for over 45 minutes. What a complete waste of time. I've never seen a wait at an automatic car wash this long in my life. It sucks you aren't able to see the line prior to entering. Had I had an option to reverse or seen the line I'd have not entered. I'll be going home and cleaning my car the right way a little later today. For $30 you can get a gallon of ONR that'll last you for a year of washes at home and about 30 minutes of your time to wash your car. Also did something real crazy to my trim. Stained r to the point it's not fully removable. I'd avoid this wash at all costs of you have a nice car due to its acidic, extremely harsh chemicals

I tried the restaurant again after 1 year and this time both our meals (me the fish combo wasn't cook well- raw fish (shrimp & cod) and my son's Greek sandwich was cold when it should have been hot) were not cooked well and not hot. I want to like this eatery but twice being ill is too much. Ugh

This place is amazing! We had the seared tuna. The portions were large and very delicious and fresh. Their desserts are homemade and very tasty with a cup of hot coffee. You can get anything to eat here hamburgers, sandwiches, salads etc love this place and the owner and kids who sometimes work there are very nice! It's a combo gas station, fancy market and deli. There is a nice side patio to eat whatever you order. love it. We have been here several times when we are in the Aptos area. Gas up, eat and drink and go. There are lots of items for a quick picnic on the beach too!

Convenient. Surprising. Wonderful.These are the words I would use to describe this establishment.The woman of my dreams and I were waiting two hours for a tow truck in the area and we happened to stumble across AJ‘s Chevron Mart & Car Wash.Walking in, I was amazed at the service provided. We got clean bathrooms, booze, and some delicious sandwiches all for a small price. The employee even offered his jumper cables to help jump our car.My woman and I walked out of there with two piping hot chicken sandwiches, a cheap bottle of white wine and a smile on our faces.We recommend this establishment to anyone in Aptos and anyone in the great state of California.

What a shame. AJS had such great propared food for years. They must have c changed staff because the quality has gone way, way down. The Gyro now is not thinly sliced. It is checks, often dry and cured on the edges. Worse is the person behind the counter. We called well in advance ignorer to save everyone time and trouble, They put us in hold for nearly twenty minutes. When they did pick up, they were rude. When I went to the counter to get my tag so could pay, they clearly had not started the order and the guy had an attitude like he wanted to fight. My friends had gone there a few days before and got sick from the food. Sadly, our AJs days are over.

Breakfast burrito. Aren't there supposed to be eggs in it? We ordered the burrito each picked a type of meat sausage to have in it and they went to prepare them. We got it about 10 minutes later went to the car and opened it up and there's sausage and some potatoes And not much else wrapped in a tortilla. Maybe we ordered it wrong but I'm not sure how you can order a breakfast burrito wrong? Maybe the person making it forgot the eggs? I find that hard to believe they were sitting right next to her on the counter. Anyway, I won't go there for breakfast burritos anymore..

Love this market/gas station/deli!! Great food!! I recommend this place to anyone traveling visiting the beach down the street this place wil suit all of your needs.
