I went to the Emergency Room early this morning. I was in so much pain I couldn't walk. I had to be hunched over and try my best to move. The nurse who was taking care of me mocked me and started walking around hunched over and was laughing. I'm glad my pain was used to make the staff's night. What a horrible experience

Every time I go to to prompt care they don't send me bills just a collections notice 1 year later, it's a joke. I live on the same road as their billing office and they say they sent several and tried calling but I have no records of it

They are literally the worst. During a pregnancy ultrasound in the ER when I thought I was losing my little baby I wanted so badly the tech turned the screen towards me to show me the baby... I was like oh my goodness is that my baby?! He goes I can't confirm or deny but it certainly looks like one. The nurse "chaperone" in the room that had already been talking to the tech about how "******* up she'd been the day before and how she raided their medical supplies for hangover cures goes "That's not a baby, that's a parasite." I almost started crying. If I had been in any frame of mind I would have reported her but I was too upset about my baby at the time.

Dr Ogle, RN Rob, working in ER, are so capable, efficient, concerned, communicative, technical, and responsive. I give the hospital and staff the highest possible endorsement. Sincerely, Jc

Patient beware. Here is my sad story and hope it helps. I should of read the reviews before taking my spouse to the Sonora ER. I received nothing but disrespect and judgement from the ER nurse (Hope). I suggested to the nurse and her line manager that global training should be provided to the ER staff running the show. To make a long sad story short-- My spouse was released at ~1 am. I spoke to the nurse and she made a snide judgemental comment that I should hydrate myself. As we left the facility both my spouse and I noticed a Sonora police car hiding in the parking lot waiting for us to leave the facility. My spouse and I both got into the car and drove a few yards. We were stopped by the police officer and I was asked to take a test for DUI. I passed the test and told the police officer that nurse Hope from the ER reported me as being DUI to harass me (I felt unsafe due to feeling like I was being stalked by both police and the Sonora ER staff. The cop mentioned ER called in to report me as being under the influence of alcohol). The next day I called Hope's line manager and explained to him that Hope was out of line by judging me and calling the police on me. Hope called me "Goffey". I provided feedback to him that if Hope had empathetic concern for my spouse (patient) and me (I was the support system who drove the patient home) then why did she not suggest that we take a taxi or Uber/Lyft home? I never received a call back from her line manager to provide me her story, therefore I figured that the Sonora ER is not open to feedback for improvement and therefore not a safe place to bring your loved ones or yourself for care. I strongly believe the nurse was judgemental and nasty to me by calling the police on me--shame on all of you for putting me through a scary experience. The front desk staff treated me with homophobia, and I gave her feedback of my concern on the spot. Patient beware.

If I could give the nurses 5 stars I would, but the ER doctors suck!! Literally told my husband (who has a really high pain tolerance) that his abdominal pain is "probably just a bug" even though it's NOT and said she could do a CT scan on him but she would just be "fishing for an answer" because she doesn't know why he's in pain. And told us to come back if he's still in pain later/tomorrow and she will order a CT scan. In which I said, won't you still be "fishing?" And she said yes... so basically they don't care. We will be going to Modesto next! Don't go here unless you don't care about your health.

Mis treatment every single time. Got an internal bleed? They will give you blood thinners. Ran over and broke your pelvis? They'll tell you it's just bruises and give you crutches and send you on your way (even though you cant feel your legs and came in on a gourney). Got a sickness from Mexico? They'll give you ear pain medicine. When you call them saying you're getting worse, don't worry it's just the side effects! (As a Modesto clinic diognoses you with E. Coli). Pu my This place is a joke, and if you are not careful they might kill you, no joke. Killed 1 person in my family by p*** treatment for the wrong illness and almost killed another two years back by administering blood thinners for a side effect of internal bleeding. Doctor "didn't catch it", my a**** May the Gods cause this place to close soon.

Years of misdiagnosis and botched procedures and offering no options but ER for an ongoing condition. Now, it turns out that it's cancer.

Horrible! I went by ambulance. I had only PJ's on and no shoes. When released, i had no way home and I wasn't dressed. I was cold and VERY embarrassed being in the lobby with no clothes or shoes. Taxi was called but didn't come. The security guy and the gal at the window would not help me. Security said if the taxi doesn't come, he will have to put me outside. Window gal asked me what i wanted to do. I was shocked and scared to hear they would actually put me outside without in my pjs. I actually cried because I didn't know what to do. The two of them laughed together. Security sat in the chair at the window and laughed with the gal on the other side. How could they be so mean? I have insurance...being charged tons of money to be there and they leave me in a lobby in my PJs embarrased. Finally i Insisted they give me a blanket to cover myself up because it was so weird having people sit around me and look at me in my pajamas I had no undies no shoes no socks in it was cold. What happen to people just being kind and showing compassion and being human? How do i report them. This cant be the hospital policy to treat a patient this way. Oh... security said i was no longer a patient once discharged from ER. Even though i was taken there by ambulance. Hey said I had to figure it out myself but I was not a patient they owed me nothing and if the taxi doesn't come I have to figure out a way to get home Or they would have to ask me to go outside, in my pajamas with no shoes. They even looked up how far my homework is I told him I lived in Jamestown they said it's 3 1/2 miles. I could walk.

I had a terrifying reaction to some sort of stomach flu that gave me very strange symptoms with frightening quickness. I didn't know if I was having a heart attack or what. They took me in quickly due to my shaking and disorientation I assume. I was taken care of very well and quickly. Once they got my rested and hydrated, we both agreed that I could ride it out on my own, and I was content to go be miserable somewhere else and open up that room to someone else that needed it much more. Why were other people waiting in the hallway? Why all the bad reviews? Beats me. Maybe they were busy? Also, there are a lot of drugs in that area, so I am guessing they have a filtering process to try to push back the people fishing for painkillers.

I'm writing this review about the birthing center. This place is a nightmare!! My wife has been being monitored for pre eclampsia for weeks per doctors orders, and 3 days ago tested positive. The birthing center told her she needed to be induced immediately since she was almost 40 weeks anyway. My wife insisted on waiting till the end of the day so I could be with her, and they made it seem like she would certainly die if she waited 3 hours ( It's now been 3 days of pointless waiting) We came in later that day to start the induction process via a medication called cytotec (an ulcer med) which the FDA does NOT approve for induction, and is often used for abortions. I did alot of research on this drug and voiced how I felt to nurses and doctors and they justified its use, and it being safe on the grounds that Viagra was originally a heart med but is used for erections. We are on day 3 of the induction and finally they got around to breaking her water. Our doctor is still out of town, and we are still stuck with the doctor we specifically asked not to deal with. It's just one thing after another and the baby still isn't here yet. There is also a multitude of small issues I'm not even including in this review.. I'm truly afraid to see what else can happen by the time my wife is in labor. I'm legitimately afraid for the safety of my wife and unborn child. We should have gone to Sutter despite it being further.

PAIN CITY! FAILED HEALTH STANDARDS TESTS! This place just keeps screaming HIPPA violations. First off, was my nurse Sharon in the emergency room totally in a foul mood from the beginning, as I am hunched over vomiting. She asks about drug use in a way which implied I was under the influence "When did you use last?" I have never used drugs in my life, she also mentioned my medical conditions very loudly, and never in my life have I been treated so low. Avoid this place at all costs, it's not worth your life to have a bad nurse, not being treated right because your nurse (who a patient's advocate) talk to you like dirt. She should be fired, and I can't wait for this hospital to be shut down.

I don't know why this place has such bad reviews. We came to the Er with my daughter and there was no on ein the waiting room. It is a secure facility where they had to unlock the door so we can come in.. So random people cant just walk in. They also had a security guard. Right when we walked in the staff was very friendly and amazing with my daughter. They asked her questions, took her vitals etc. They know how to talk to kids and make them smile. We did have to stay there for 6 hours for monitoring which was a little frustrating. But they turned the lights out so she could sleep and gave me a bed to lay on also. Every half hour the machine would take the blood pressure again. When the time was done, they came in and got us out without stalling.

Ummm.... this hospital has been amazing. Aside from the care they gave to my husband and getting him squared away; because we had to wait 2 hrs AFTER he was released from the hospital for our transportation help home to Sacramento, they gave us our own room with recliners, TV, coffee, juices and blankets!! Yay Adventist Health!

Your new scheduling for appointments systems is horrible. I got a message to schedule a mammogram. I called back and left all my info in a message since she didn't answer. No call back. Got letter in the mail that I got 2 calls to schedule an appt and never responded. Wrong! Called again, left a message again and again no call back. Called Radiology directly today and was on hold for over 4 minutes and hung up. Making an appt is impossible and then they blame me.
