got a helpful explanation of trouble codes pointing to an intermittently defective pcm on our recently purchased used pt cruiser. replacement of pcm cured the recurrent limp mode problem. thanks, freddy.

I was visiting from Idaho. My trans had been serviced before my trip, so it should have been working great. However, it was slipping out of gear, but Freddie was able to get me right in.It turns out they didn't put enough transmission fluid in it! He checked it over, added a quart, and it drove home perfect! I would recommend them for any transmission repairs. They are awesome!

The transmission was due for service on my 06 dodge 2500. I arrived on time for my appointment and they started working on it within 10 min. After the work was completed I was told an adjustment was also done. An inside bolt was loose and he fixed it. I asked what the bolt controls and was told 2nd gear. My truck has been lurching in 2nd gear for years. Through 3 service calls. My truck shifts great. Ill be bringing my other two vehicles here soon.

Last week my transmission broke while we were visiting Yosemite National Park. It was hot and late in the day. I called Sonora Transmission and Freddy answered the phone. He indicated their shop could help me and even gave me advice so I could limp the car to their shop to avoid a tow bill. Freddy ordered the part that night, the next morning, only two hours after they opened, Freddy called me indicating the repair was done. These folks are the most honest and professional people I've ever had work on my car. I also should mention, we live eight states away from Sonora Transmission. I was also happy with the bill as the price was very reasonable. Freddy is awesome! Thank you again Sonora Transmission! You ABSOLUTELY should take your ride here!

Called for a transmission quote. They took my number and vehicle information and said they'd call me back later with a few options. It's been 3 weeks now and they never called back. I had my vehicle repaired elsewhere. You get once chance to make a first impression.

They charged me $720 for a tune-up and oil change that took 2 months when it turned out to be catalytic converter that they can't handle. Very disappointed with the lack of communication, lengthy time and lack of skills. Should have went to the dealer. The vehicle showed immediate signs of improper functioning and was sluggish leading to non drivable within 1 month.

Being new in town I was skeptical about taking my Jeep to a dealership. After asking around this shop came highly recommended. I called made an appointment and needless to say they were wonderful. Mike and Freddie were extremely knowledgeable and my issue was taken care of within a day. Will definitely be back for all of my Jeep needs.

As a dealership mechanic I can assure you they are honest and true to their word. They honor their warranty with no pushback. I purchased a 24 year old Lincoln and the previous owner had the transmission replaced there. I eventually had shift lever issues, they replaced the parts under warranty knowing I was the second owner. If I ever need transmission repairs on any of my cars I will bring them here.
