I started going here because I found Modesto Subaru wasn't airing up my tires like they should have. On my first visit here, I was impressed with the value for money, the oil change and rotation was far less than Modesto. My last visit in early May was interesting, they completed my oil change with no rotation (I prefer America's Tire handle that). When they were finished, I got the dreaded list of big money things that needed to be done that added up to $1700. These things included replacing control arm bushings and rear brake pads that they claimed were at 3mm. I declined, and I'm glad that I did. Months later I looked at my gold extended warranty which unbeknownst to me covered such things. Modesto Subaru confirmed this and recently performed the job under warranty. I had the brake pads checked at a local shop with an excellent reputation and found that they were measuring nearly 7mm. (Modesto measured them at 4mm less than a week later, must be a dealership thing.)Go here for the basics, but be careful with the recommendations.

Stopped in for express service which was closed. Front desk staff member went above and beyond to get me on my way again as I was just passing through and waiting 4hrs for an appt wasn’t going to be possible. He really embodied that Subaru love promise.

WILL NOT USE THEM AGAIN !!I've been a customer for several years now, from transmission replacement to minor repair, and spending several thousands of dollars. The service writers and mechanics have always been courteous and provided quality work. I am BLOWN AWAY by the fact that it was MANAGEMENT that ran me off as a loyal customer. Their intrusive manner of pushing the "up sell" after doing busines borderlines harassment. Even after warning them of their behavior they continued to text and call. POS MANAGEMENT should stay out of mechanic/customer relationship...they just poison the water.

I really loved the rest of the staff here, but the j*** who wields the weapon, getting your non-existent money, strikes with force and without compassion or common sense! Please know he told me to take my car back to where I bought it!!! Seriously, couldn't take it! One of those people who can't take criticism whether it be constructive or otherwise! He's the apple that is spoiling the bunch, aren't you "Rick?"

Made an online order for an axel and was planning to do it myself but happened to ask how much they would charge in labor and they had a decent price. Had the pleasure working with Kevin and I must say his customer service skills are impeccable not only with how he worked with me but with others in the shop as well. Thank you for the quick service

Car overheating so took it in. 1)They said I need new tires which are still under warranty for 40,000 more miles. 2)That it would cost over $3,600.K to fix. Stated head gaskets the issue. 3)replace link bushings$770. Will have that looked at elsewhere.Have taken it elsewhere. The thermostats was bad a$28.00part. plus install. Not happy at all with them

Haven't been there yet, just called for my 1st visit for January. Just moved here from Connecticut where my Subaru had been treated like a Queen since purchasing in March of 2016. I had my previous Subaru for 17 years and I always had it serviced at the same place. I hope my experience with Sonora Subaru Service Center will be as great as it was at Holgrem Subaru in Connecticut. When I called for the service appointment I was pleasantly surprised to actually speak to a human. My questions were answered andthe schedule for availability was perfect. Loking forward to a long happy service relationship.

Unhappy people terrible service for my friend who brought car in to get service done . Unpleasant and unhelpful service writer's. They did a tire rotation and didn't even say and/or do anything about the screw/nail that is in one of the tires . Very slow, full of excuses of why they couldn't do everything they were suppose to and wanted her to bring car back to get the rest of things done.I do not recommend any one bringing their cars here. Any certified repair shops can do the same services at half the price and get the complete job done that your asking for... And won't void any warranties either at other certified shops.

Have always used them for oil changes and tire rotations, unfortunately that's all they are caple of completing. I wouldn't recommend any other repair. My car has been sitting for two days waiting to be fixed.Service: Air conditioning
