Stunning and extremely quiet location. Absolutely loved it. Tiny lodges with kitchenette in the middle of the woods. Friendly team, everything is straight forwards, but I'd recommend to put in the actual address into the GPS and follow signs. There's a bench and BBQ outside for each lodge. The jacuzzi and the pool are so nice, paved with rocks, fitting into the environment with waterfalls. So relaxing. Can't wait to go back!Rooms: Rooms are small but we didn't spend much time there. It's very cosy.

Very low key resort with basic amenities and no on-site staff. There are 5-6 buildings, so you know there won’t be a ton of people there. The spa and pool were clean and refreshing. The clubhouse was a hodgepodge of couches, pool table, large TV, and bar area. There are no amenities in the bathroom except hand soap, so be sure to bring your own toiletries. GPS gave us bad directions, and ended up going the back way in. Look for the big Lazy Z sign in the front and you should be fine. Overall fairly quiet, but being that the rooms are so close to the pool area, we definitely could hear the kids screaming and crying. The pool and spa are on a timer and shut off around 10:15 pm. The rooms are basic and beds are somewhat firm. There is a small fridge and a sink, with a few dishes. There is no dish soap though (that I could find). This is approximately a 15-20 min drive to Sonora.

We always have a great time here. The service is minimal. There is no room service or anything. I gave it 5 stars for that portion, though, because it's not meant to have room service like that. And the service you do get - for booking and whatnot is always good.Rooms: The rooms are small cabins - small 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, with a kitchen and living room. They also have a deck area with a grill. And then there is another building you have access to - the club house. There is a billiards table and places to hang out. And there is a water feature for swimming near the club house.

The space was nice, it was the closest to where our birthday party was that we were attending. Parking was not right outside our space although the people staying next to us decided to park where it said not to blocking us when we wanted to pack up. The place looked cool, pool and jacuzzi but we literally were there for one night and then left so unfortunately didn't get to enjoy all the extra emenities. It looked like a cool space for a group rental thought.

We found mold in the restroom shower, dust in the air vents and spider webs all over the room. The air quality inside the room was not good at all. We were looking forward to our stay here but were very disappointed by the cleanliness.

Nice place, nice cabins. I wish we'd gotten there earlier (before dark) to scout out the hot tub. But it's a nice, quiet place, wayyy up in the hills.

This was our third time staying here. The cabins/cottages are nicely decorated and super comfortable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We love this place.

This place is a great little getaway! The pool and spa are beautiful and the scenery is gorgeous. It was an easy check in and the cabin had everything you might need. I would have gave it 5 stars but the bed creaked and it caved in the middle. We will definitely go back though.

We stayed here in order to visit Yosemite, as we wanted a nice refuge to come back to after a hard day's hiking and Lazy Z definitely delivered! Gorgeous grounds, with interesting history (and a museum of sorts in their club house). The swimming area was beautifully crafted and felt like a little oasis. Beds were comfortable and spacious rooms, we even had a little balcony put the back which was great for bird watching. Only downside was there wasn't enough cutlery for us both in the kitchen but everything else was spot on! Will definitely be returning

Amazing resort! They make you feel welcomed and make it personal. They sent me a nice confirmation text with information in regards to our stay. The cabin was soooo cute. Pool and hot tub was beyond beautiful! Will be coming again. Highly

We had a great time here and the place we stayed out was thoughtfully laid out with lots of decorative flair. More important to us as a family was the terrific customer service, the peace and quiet, and of course the Sierras and the town of Twain Harte! ❤️

This is a nice place to stay at if you’re looking to get away from the city for a bit. We stayed in Cabin and it was very accommodating for our group. The check in was smooth and the staff was always quick to respond. The cabin was located towards the back of the resort and surrounded by trees everywhere so there was a lot of privacy and it really made it feel like we were the only ones there. The only downside of this place is that the cable and wifi were down while we were there and there isn’t very much phone service so we could not use our phones or the TVs. Which isn’t so bad when you are at cabin but just something to keep in mind if you need to get work done. The reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5 is because we did find some areas that had crumbs on the floor that could have been cleaned a little better and some hairs were found on one of the beds. Nothing too bad but someone in our group complained about it a bit so I could not leave it out of this review. Overall the cabin was great and if we are ever in the area we will definitely be back!

This place is great! You can rent a mini house! Ours came with a bedroom and a full size bed, linens and pillows. (Might want to bring your favorite pillow and blanket). There was a shower with just enough hot water! A marble counter kitchen, keurig, microwave, fridge, air conditioner ( late summer you will neeeeeed it)A lazy boy couch (yas!), TV.There is a deck with bbq grill (bring charcoal ECT)My tip: Bring a pan, oil and any real cooking items. They try. They really do. But don't be stupid. If you need that certain thing... It's not there. What they have: Nature, Ambiance. There is a club house! In the club house is a man made boulder swimming pools, and a hot tub that is big enough a grown man can lay across. There is a pool table, karaoke upstairs, bathrooms. What it's not: Perfect. If you need that go to a hotel. Bugs: It's pretty much the sierras. Bugs live here. They didn't come inside. But they tried. Hot tip: check out natural bridges, just Google it. It's a short hike down the ravine on a safe trail. Try not to go on a day it's 107 like we did. But it's amazing. Your kids will think you are so cool. Save some water for the doom hike back out. Bring a walking stick and floaties
