Brought in truck that broke down on CA highway. We're from Idaho. Needed it looked at immediately and repaired soonest. They dropped what they were doing as soon as our truck was towed in. They gave us a ride to the car rental place, they used (by permission) a part from another truck that matched ours so we didn't have to wait 3 days for the part to come in, they had our truck repaired in less than 24 hours. They set everything aside to assist us as we were from another state traveling thru California. Can't say enough good about them! Thank you Jim's Automotive/Opie's Garage!

Horrible and time consuming. Wont even smog test your car without you jumping through hoops and waiting two weeks just for them to cancel last minute

They wanted to charge me $300 just to look at the car. Granted, that would go against whatever it cost to fix it, but man....$300??? That's insane.

New to the area. At work EVERYONE recommended Opies! I got my Chevy worked on here. They are very professional, explained everything to me kindly and it was a wonderful experience. The diagnosis of the problem was excellent, for several of our vehicles, with different problems. The main complaint is the length of time it takes to get a vehicle back from them, and the lack of updates from them, as week after week rolls by. For several vehicles of ours, it has taken a month! They promise timeliness of repair, and to get back to you, but break those promises. The quality of the repairs has nevertheless ranged from excellent to good.

I cannot say enough great things about Jim's automotive/Opies. I took my motorhome there for a smog. They had some issues with their smog machine, so I had to bring it back the next day a small inconvenience, but I wouldn't complain about that. It was out of their hands. Margie who answers the phone was very sweet and helpful. My service tech was over the top. He was very patient with me and my circumstances. He did an excellent job on my motorhome as well as super customer service. Everyone there was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for any service needs.
