I was referred by a friend that had nothing but amazing things to say about this place, and after my experience today I couldn’t agree more! I called at 8:30am, a brand new customer. I explained that a battery was accidentally installed backwards on my vehicle and clearly something fried... Car wouldn’t start. In a panic on a Friday morning I called Dave’s auto and he took my car right in. The tow arrived around 10, and this company had my part ordered, delivered and ready for pickup by 2:30pm THE SAME DAY!! I’ve never had an auto shop even look at my car the same day with a drop off, and this company had me back on the road before I was even clocked out for the weekend. That’s not even mentioning that the total cost for my last minute drop off and part cost less than the battery that was bought the previous day! Thank you so much to Dave’s auto staff. You truly are amazing!

I have a 2019 subaru legacy that needed brakes n rotors. I had multiple people tell me this spot has honest good mechanics. They gave a avwrage price based on what Google said my work should cost but when finished they took $100 off as they were able to get the parts and do the work quicker then expected.

Jason and the team at Dave's Auto Repair took great care of me and my car. Unlike a corporate repair shop, there are no service writers or important info lost in translation. The people who turn the wrenches also answer the phones and greet you at the front desk. This makes for a honest, trustworthy staff that does great work and provides excellent customer service. I highly recommend this place for any car repair needs.

Jason and his employees are one of a kind! I highly recommend this Dave’s auto shop. I literally thought my car was falling apart so I stopped by his place, he looked at my car, said some bolts were loose, tightened them up, and sent me on my way. I’m so thankful that he made time for me and was able to resolve my issue, ensuring that my car was safe to drive. Very personable, funny, and just a cool dude! Thanks again Jason!

Jason and his guys at Dave's Auto have been my go-to mechanics for our older pickup trucks and minivans. From maintenance to electrical to mechanical troubleshooting to repairs, I've always found Dave's Auto to be prompt, personal, and to do great quality work.
Jason has gone over and above a couple times, and has also been willing to suggest I take my vehicle to a different mechanic for complex diesel troubleshooting or for more cost effective trailer repairs (Avery Muffler!). I trust him.
I'm looking forward to taking my ATV there to be repaired this week.

Hands down, the best shop ever!! After having my truck at another shop for almost 2 months, I called Dave's. He instantly knew the problem with my truck, even called the old mechanic to discuss. I made the correct decision to have my truck towed to Dave's and the problem was fixed within a week!! He also determined that the wrong fuel pump had been put in and made arrangements with old mechanic to have replaced at no cost. He went above and beyond to help me, as I struggled to get this resolved. I owe you a debt of gratitude, Sir. This shop should be everybody's first choice!! Just amazing!! God's blessings always.

I was new in town and took a poll on a Facebook group comprised of locals in the Tuolumne area and hands down this was the most recommended spot- for good reason! Jason is honest, helpful, and fair with his prices. When I needed work done and didn’t know anyone in the area he went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and part of the community.

I can't recommend Dave's highly enough. My Econoline van broke down en route to Yosemite when it started overheating, and they were able to get me in right away. I was able to sleep in my van at the shop (they said they get a lot of van lifers) and it was fixed by the next morning.I had been expecting to pay a lot of money no matter what the fix was, just based on it being a small town close to the National Park, but they kept it incredibly honest. Car troubles suck no matter what, but I felt lucky to have been near such an awesome mechanic that treated me with respect and clearly values their customers so much.
