SONORA CA BANK OF AMERICA. Rudest bunch of women work here. Tellers and the manager. Fake smiles and all rudeness. There is one teller here that is nice and helpful. The teller today would not assist me due to my debit card having my first initial and not my name. Well you flipping issued the card to me that way. I do not recommend this branch at all. Go elsewhere. Find a different bank or a credit union.

Worst customer service imaginable. One location in entire county and their hours are 9-4. Screw the people who have to work. Employees extremely unfriendly and unable to help you in any way except basic services. Anything else, you have to call someone on the telephone who then tell you to go to your financial center. If you like waiting on hold for extended periods of time to get no help this is the place for you. It is a shame what has happened to this once respectable bank.

The Bank of America in Sonora, CA on Washington Street is the worst bank I’ve had to deal with…..ever!!! They had another branch in East Sonora on Mono Way, but they closed that one down. At least they were professional and kind at that branch. The one on Washington has the most rude personnel! From Manager(s) down to the tellers. I don’t go in there unless I absolutely need to. When I do, I cringe because of the terrible rude treatment I get.One time, I begged to use a restroom because I have Interstitial Cystitis. It’s extremely painful to “hold it”. I was emphatically told no, as the restroom was for only the personnel. When I explained the situation of my medical condition, it made no difference to them…..I was flatly refused….and in a rude manner. I’ve been in this branch a few times, and you can just tell the personnel are miserable and cruel to the public. I’ve seen other customers treated badly also.What’s wrong with this bank? They need to fire everyone there and hire all new people! Doesn’t their Corporate read how unhappy people are with this bank?

Absolutely the worst people and organization to deal with. We’re trying to deal with estate stuff after a death, and it’s impossible. Glad I don’t bank here.

I was trying to deal with an estate after a death in the family. They have so many hurdles and roadblock that it's impossible to resolve anything. They are the opposite of helpful. Very frustrating. And not just this branch. I've had the same experience at other branches.

This bank excels in customer service and every one is friendly/attentive. The negative reviews do not reflect this banks values nor do I see them as having any merit. I have been a customer of theirs for the past two years and have never had an issue. Keep up the good work.

Well, I solved my problem remotely by ordering a replacement Debit Card over my iPhone using the BofA Account interface, so I really can't comment on my interactions with their financial center.

The branch manager there is one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. I have had multiple legitimate issues with my account that are internal problems with the bank and the manager consistently has been extremely condescending when I have asked for assistance. When explaining that I have had nothing but issues with my account since I opened it there she proceeded to tell me that maybe I’m not a good fit for Bank of America and I should bank somewhere else. Not great for business in my opinion.

11/3/22:I lost my physical card. I needed help linking my card to my digital wallet so I could pay for groceries. “There was an updating issue on BOFA’s end.” Nobody at this location even tried logging into my account to help me. It’s astonishing the amount of words, time, and energy used by these employees to deliberately not help.I think it’s possible the current employees are too old to help with the digital world we live in now. Re-training?

I have been customer at this bank since 1968. The cashier is rude. Every time I go in she rudely lectures me on something instead of just doing her job. They used to have nice people working there I think they are very unhappy with their job.
