I was a member at the Petaluma location…it’s a read but if you are thinking about starting here, I would not…The staff at this gym treats members like garbage!When I went to begin my membership, it was during a promotion. I was told to come back the next day because it would be a fresh billing cycle, it would make more sense, and that they would honor the promotion. When I went in the next day they denied the conversation and it took awhile of convincing and e-mails with Britney jones to finally get started. I would have just started the first time I came in, but they told me not to, and the wanted to charge me more money!I went in one night and it took me a few minutes to unlock the front door with the app, when I got in finally, I had forgot to swipe a second time at the desk (though my info is logged from opening the door) and Britney again emailed me right away threatening to revoke my after hours pass. A simple “hey don’t forget to swipe a second time” would have been a normal thing to say…Now I’m trying to cancel my membership and am being treating like I am a crazy/rude person! It is WILD! I can’t get a hold of anyone and am only receiving rude/snarky/short remarks from emails. They act as if I was the meanest and craziest person ever. I really am at a loss.The gym itself was dirty, equipment always broken, sinks never worked, water fountains never worked, despite talking to the front desk. The bathrooms are filthy as well. Front desk is full of kids so I don’t blame them but management is just awful. I’m glad to be leaving.Though I only gave 28 day notice instead of 30 so they want to charge me another $100! Insanity!I know other gym owners and have been a member at multiple gyms throughout my life and this is by far the worst! I can go on but I reccomend going anywhere but here! This place is absolutely terrible. For $100 a month, it is not even close to worth it.

I love this gym and have been a member for months now, but at this point, it's so disgusting to step inside the women's restroom. As a woman, our restroom should be the cleanest part of any gym. Who wants to sit on toilet seats that have stains, no covers, and toilet paper on the floor? These stains and garbage have been there for a week! I have seen cleaner public restrooms. It feels like they just need to take out the trash and get the towels washed. You would think that with the high price and yearly charge for the "gym improvements," they would keep up with cleaning. I just took these pictures today because after a week, I have to say something…. IT IS SO GROSS.. Let's note that lately, I've been seeing empty cups and cans on the gym floor for days. I don't know what happened, but the last 3-4 months are when the cleaning department just stop existing or something…. I'm not sure if the staff is just too busy talking to each other to pay attention what’s happening but it’s so disappointing… It's crazy because I also go to the Petaluma location, and the girl staff is great! You can ACTUALLY see them checking the restrooms, and they are ALWAYS clean! Those girls in Petaluma need to come train this Sonoma lotions ASAP…

Bathrooms are so gross and need cleaning. They are almost worse than bathrooms at a gas station. For the price you pay at this gym, you would think that they would at least keep the bathrooms in better shape. Not just the cleaning but some of the doors to the bathroom stalls don't work properly. Also the soap for the hands seems to be watered down, which is gross. The lockers sometimes work and at times they don't. Staff is helpful while they are there and seem to do their best to help gym members. This just seems as a problem of the owner not up keeping the gym. I don't understand why they keep on raising prices to the membership but the quality of the gym is getting worse. As a local trying to support other locals who have a business, it is disappointing. Yet they continue to open up gyms all over when they clearly can't manage to keep up with the up-keeping of the gym. Overall gym staff is very nice so no complaints there. It's just the quality of what you pay for what you get. Equipment is great but when out of service, it takes a while for it to get repaired.

I was a member for 3 months in 2019, I enjoyed the gym, the staff was very polite, but they made it unnecessarily difficult to cancel my membership once I moved out of state, Sonoma Fit also tried to charge me for an extra month even though the 3-week delay in a response to membership cancelation was on their end.Now Sonoma Fit keeps using my personal info to subscribe me to promotional emails and newsletters, I have unsubscribed several times they just add me back a few months later.I got one for Sonoma Fit Pool Club yesterday, its very annoying, I haven't lived in California since 2020, I have no interest in a pool club.

Little to no maintenance in women's restroom. For the last month, the same toilet has been out of service or leaking water. The overall building is dusty and unkept. Paying $99/month has not been worth it. I have cancelled my membership and do not recommend.

This gym pegs itself as a premium gym, but it is anything but. For $110 a month the facility and the services are severely lacking. In San Rafael, the locker rooms are filthy regularly, and I learned from a staff member that they are only cleaned once a week. Junk is on the floor, the wastebasket is almost always full, the floor tiles are dirty. In the men's room, only one soap dispenser works and the other sink faucet works. This has been the case for several months. Often, there is no soap in the dispenser. There are 20 lockers but almost all of them are locked permanently. I've notified the staff about this but nothing gets done to unlock them, so only a few of them are available to use. This is a gigantic inconvenience when the gym is full. It's such a shame because with only a little effort the gym owners could show their clients that they care and that they are committed to quality.

The space and equipment are great. My number one complaint and one that I have pointed out many times to management is the gym is dirty. The locker room is dirty. The showers are dirty. The gym was painted months ago. Sheet rock work was done and sanded. There is still sheet rock dust on window sills and on the ground throughout the gym. There are signs asking customers to wipe down equipment, when are the owners going to start having the place cleaned on a regular basis?

Terrible on-going experience trying to cancel membership. Am told can't cancel in person. the 888 phone number provided for cancelation never gives a prompt for a cancellation. Called 707 number and they have no record of any attempts to cancel. Makes auto deduction month after month despite repeated attempts to cancel membership. Terrible customer service. Total rip off.

I am not a member of this gym but my 18 year old daughter is. An incident happened shortly after she joined. I contacted management and received a response in a some what timely manner. After the first email I had questions about policies and protocols it was weeks in between response. I was basically dismissed and totally brushed off. Front of the house did great when the incident happened. They only have one manager who takes weeks to respond to emails and that you can't reach by phone. Being that they have expanded and have so many locations I would assume they would have a harassment policy. Shocked the management basically said it's never been an issue.... Seems crazy to not have something in place this is not a small mom and pop gym. Disappointed in the lack of follow threw and management is a joke.

Staff does not monitor the use of equipment properly. It is now 4 o’clock the gym has got quite a few people in it mini machines there are people waiting in addition to weights and benches. One person working out was using a floormat a bench and standing up doing free weights all at the same time except not really they couldn’t possibly have used all three of those at the same time. When I asked to work in the woman doing it said no I’m using it meaning the bench. This place is ridiculously unmonitored
